Plate Filtering Grain Fines

I brewed a Marzen last month that ended up with grain fines in the final product - I have had two recent batches where this has been an issue.

I assume I can filter it all out using a couple of plate filters? Any idea on sizing (in microns) of the filter pads? I'd like to get as much of it out as I can, without fighting clogs in the filter pads.

Augment Strattera with Guanfacine

When treating ADHD+anxiety, is there any utility in augmenting a non-stimulant with Guanfacine or Clonidine? Especially if symptoms of hyperarousal are present & persistent?

Streaks/Stains in Fermenter after CIP

Does anyone else deal with streaks/stains in their fermenter, even after a thorough CIP cycle? This is after 2 hours of hot PBW, a rinse cycle, and 1+ hour of hot phosphoric acid.

Any concerns racking wort into this after a sanitizing step?

(This is a Brewtools MiniUni+, so it doesn't have a polished surface)

WWII Inspiration for the Millenium Falcon?

George Lucas has admitted to watching footage of WWII dogfights as inspiration for space battles in the original trilogy.

Has he also (unconsciously?) derived his design for the Millenium Falcon from the German submarine pens in Lorient, France?

These are screen caps from the William Wyler documentary The Memphis Belle: A Story of a Flying Fortress.

What is it about INTJs

What is it about INTJs that comes across so disingenuous/self-righteous/lacking self-awareness?

"I'm a good friend, but only to the right people."

"If you think I'm a bad friend, we probably aren't friends in the first place."

"I'll move heaven and earth for people I care about - but only if you really need it, and you'll have to be the one to reach out to me for it."

"I'm only willing to consider feedback from people I respect."

"I'm not selfish, I'm just unwilling to subject my needs to others' comfort."

"I'm not insensitive, other people are just too sensitive."

I'm genuinely trying to understand the dynamics behind the behavior and understand how it is rationalized internally.

Thoughts on Relationships with Fi Users

How do other INFJs find their relationships with Fi-users to be? (I'm attempting to crystallize some thoughts about a recently-ended long-term friendship).

While this friend was an INTJ (and I suspect Ni had a large role in our conflict), it felt like the Fi/Ti clash was the main sticking point, and ultimately ended up being too significant to overcome. Even trying to have basic conversations proved to be a chore: misunderstandings, working from different definitions for the same term, assigning motive, etc. - it felt like we were speaking almost entirely different languages.

My current closest friend would probably type as ISFP, and we don't clash too much - but I would assume much of that is due to the fact we share many similar interests and hobbies, which helps to offset minor frustrations. However, I do think that living under the same roof would create a new set of frustrations which don't exist while living separately.

As a strength, Fi seems to be great at making a person principled - that is obviously an admirable trait. However, it seems that the specific set of principles adhered to by Fi-users can be incredibly subjective and not always in-line with an objective moral code. And from my observations, Fi also seems to contribute to users (seemingly) always knowing what they want and what they feel, which can come across as being incredibly self-centered/ focused.

The INTJ I referred to previously seemed to confuse a personal preference/value for a moral absolute, and seemed to be incredibly concerned with his own feelings/values, while completely ignoring my own. I think Ni making quick assumptions that weren't rooted in concrete facts played a large role in this conflict as well, but as a whole it seemed to reinforce to me that Fi-users can come across very self-centered and unconcerned about the thoughts/feelings of anyone but themselves. I've even struggled with Fi-users in the past when trying to make group plans which involve an event/location they aren't thrilled about - almost like they aren't willing to temporarily lay aside their own preferences for the good of the group.

Have any other INFJs experienced similar frustrations? Or does this sound limited to just a few Fi-users I have known personally?

Thank you - the esters in this Kolsch are fantastic! Reminiscent of white wine+pear - just what I was looking for, and it resulted in an amazing beer.

I might have to start keeping this on tap year-round...
