Eric Lang Pre-orders 30% off(ManyRealms)

For those who dont know, the Eric Lang Trilogy(Blood Rage, Ankh: Gods of Egypt, Rising Sun) are getting all of their expansions including alot of stuff that was kickstarter exclusive printed. All of the original content from the kickstarters is being combined into two boxes, one that has all the miniatures and extra gameplay components, and one that has all the upgraded cosmetic components/alternate sculpts.

If youre like me and missed out on all the original kickstarter content for Blood Rage(promos box, wild boar clan, extra monsters) then this is the chance to get it without paying scalper prices! Ive seen the expansions for all 3 games are at a 30% discount on manyrealms, with the release date being November 15th.

My most unlucky start...ever

So my very first round i drew the "reactor overheating" event card which states that if the cooling system has a malfunction token on it I must start the self destruction sequence. So I have until round 6 to get to the reactor, and I manage to find it in round 3 only to remember that if I use the reactor to shut down the self destruct sequence then it will remove the life support systems from the game which I need all 3 on to complete one of my objectives.

So now I have to discover all C rooms/turn on all life support systems/ retrieve a data token and bring it to the lander...all by round 6 before everything blows up.

The Game Steward is legit!

I wanted to share my experience of ordering from The Game Steward for the first time. Before I bought I was looking at their reviews because it was hard to tell if they were a legitimate company or not. Many posts on this sub also seemed to not know much about the company and one particularly troubling review earlier this year made me a bit uneasy about them. The comments from people that have used them multiple times on the other hand were all positive so I gave them a shot!

If you dont know, the game steward backs kickstarters and then resells them in order for people who missed the kickstarters to be able to still get the exclusive items. I needed the tomb of wonders to complete my Ankh: Gods of Egypt collection and they had it on sale so I ordered it. As their website states I received the package within 5 days and it was VERY well packaged. The game itself was in perfect condition, however when going through the game contents I discovered a single token was missing(the plastic token for Amun).

Keep in mind this was a brand new game that was still shrink wrapped, not something that they had used and were reselling so it wasnt up to them to make sure the contents were all there. But I figured I would reach out to them anyway even though I knew it was on CMON for not including the correct components but CMON also doesnt do replacements unless you directly back their kickstarters.

I shot the Game Steward an email asking if there was any chance they might have a replacement, and immediately monday morning I got a reply. Their customer service was active in messaging back and forth throughout the morning as I got them all the info they needed, and they were able to get me the exact token I needed. I received the token in perfect condition at no cost, I didnt have to pay for the token, I didnt have to pay for shipping the token, and again this wasnt even their fault that the game was missing the token in the first place.

Truly above and beyond for the customer service from these guys, they stood by their products even for something out of their control! Will be shopping with them again in the future, I cant recommend them enough.

Valheim Review!

I havent seen many posts talking about it so I figured I would give my take on Valheim in case people were curious about it. I have played 3 games, the tutorial mission and the first 2 scenarios I have the standard edition, not the deluxe.

What did I like about the game?

First I have to say the storage is the best ive ever seen. It has 3 removable plastic trays that hold all the tokens and resources so you dont need to worry about putting components into token trays every time you open the box, they're already there! The only negative part I will say is the dragon does not fit where it should, or anywhere in the insert for that matter.

The dice chucking combat is fun, you can upgrade and alter your dice rolls as well with 3 different kinds of combat dice.

The scenario booklet is easy to set up, it doesnt take much time to get going with the game.

The tutorial mode is great, it explains most of the game without having to read the rulebook, although there are a few things it doesnt teach.

The components are good quality, I dont have any minifigs aside from the player figures since I got the standard version, but the load of cardboard standees are all nice.

Oh yeah, there were 13 SHEETS of cardboard punch outs for this game lol

The map exploration is great, you get to reveal the map as you go and it feels big enough without feeling like it gets too long to get anywhere.

Now for the not so great...

In the early scenarios you only get to access one kind of rare mineral unless you find more in chests. Being limited to mostly just the bronze items for crafting limits the already limited amount of items you can use.

Sometimes you will spend all your actions from an entire turn just healing and replenishing stamina which can be a bit of a drag.

The event deck can be a bit random as to how difficult it is, getting raided by 3 elite Grey dwarves off the bat can feel impossible if you havent had a chance to craft anything yet.

Most of the pieces on the ends of the game board fit well but some have to be forced to pop into place and dont fit as nicely.

Overall, I like this game! I've only played it with 2 players so I cant speak to how well it scales at other player counts. It does a good job of actually feeling like a crafting/survival video game in board game form. You get to explore, sail, gather resources, fight monsters, and craft loot while improving your house.

Edit: I should clarify this is not a meaty, large campaign game. Its a fun, lighter, scenario based game.

Claim Confusion

I ordered a package that was sent from another person that was supposed to arrive yesterday. When the tracking said my package was delivered, the package was nowhere to be found and no driver showed up on my ring camera.

I filed a claim and put the reason as package wasnt delivered. I received an email saying they have received my lost package claim and I will hear from them in 8 days, but now when I check the claim it says "seller will be notified of damage claim" but I submitted a missing package claim and the email even confirms that? I tried contacting support but its just a bot saying I need to wait on documentation from the seller. But the seller already uploaded the documentation needed last night.

I just want to know if they are actually searching for my package since on the tracking details it says they are still working on a new delivery date for my package but on the claim it says their investigation is already complete. I am totally confused as to whats going on, and whats weirder is their "proof of delivery" says my city but if i look at the tracking history it says it was delivered in a nearby city, so they might not have even delivered it to the correct city somehow...

Queen came with an extra feature

I finally was able to get my hands on a copy of OG today, I was surprised to find that the queen figure has a spider web on her, and to be honest it looks kinda sick lol

Hello! I've been looking to grab a copy of the original Nemesis for sometime now and unfortunately its a very hard game to find. I saw that the gamefound campaign for nemesis: retaliation had the original nemesis plus 2 expansions for $130 and was thinking about grabbing it during the nemesis: legacy gamefound later this year if it offers the same deal.

Is it possible to pledge for just the original game on gamefound without buying Nemesis: legacy or would I have to buy Nemesis: legacy in order to add the original Nemesis to my pledge? Thanks!
