I don't know what it is, but I have OG Nemesis and Nemesis retaliation, and I just feel satisfied. If I want horror I go Nemesis, if I want action I go retaliation. I just don't have a hole for legacy to fall into. It looks cool but I just don't feel any need for it. Anyone else feel like this?

This is my first crowdfunded backing of any kind, so I apologize for my ignorance.

I have a bunch of stuff in my cart (pledge?) since it went live, but haven’t actually paid for anything yet because I’m still deciding.

I see email updates as new things are winning votes and other things are opening up. Can someone explain this to me? I was thinking of doing the Salvation Pledge for Legacy since I liked everything in there, but now I see the Evolved Voidseeders is now in that particular pledge. I don’t remember that when I first added it a couple days ago. I see the Evolved Carnomorphs won the poll, which is what I was hoping for. However, I don’t see where to add the Evolved Carnomorphs. I have no interest in Void Seeders. Did I miss out on stuff not pledging the first day it came out?

Is the Nemesis Retaliation playmat worthwhile?

I can’t tell much about it from the pictures - it looks as if it’s just a dark green with some decorative elements. However, there is an old thread on BGG that appears to show some gameplay elements not shown on the Gamefound image.

What is actually printed on the mat? For those of you who own it, do you find it useful or not?

With the new campaign I'm finding myself once again drawn to Nemesis. A ton of it is because of the theme, that is a really big part for sure, I absolutely LOVE the Alien franchise.

Now the only issue is that I'd only be playing the game at two players, with some solo mixed in.

Would you still recommend any of the Nemesis editions given that I won't have the full semi coop experience at 4+ players?

For OG Nemesis: Aftermath, Medic, Void Seeders and Carnomorphs are the go-to game add-ons.

What about after that?

What are your thoughts on the OG Nemesis Terrain Pack, Constructs Pack, Playmat, Promo Cards, Untold Stories, Acrylic Tokens, etc? Lockdown SG’s (without Lockdown) for the Chytrids in OG nemesis?

Are there any of these add-ons you’d recommend more (or less) than the others?

So, if Legacy didn't exist I'd be tempted to get Retaliation.

However, I really like that Legacy is using gamebooks for the maps to reduce setup time.

The backwards compatibility with Retaliation is cool, but honestly, I think it's unlikely I'll ever exhaust the content for a single game let alone two. And if setup with Legacy's Infinity Mode is quicker, then I'm going to tend towards that.

OG Nemesis has been compared to Betrayal at House on the Hill but better, which is actually a game I enjoy, until the traitor flip happens and the ending always seems terribly anticlimatic (negating the fun build-up at the beginning.)

EDIT: also one of my pet peeves is games that feel fiddly. Granted, I don't mind playing War or the Ring, even if there's lots of pieces it doesn't strike me as fiddly.

Also apparently if you only buy the new Legacy stuff, you're getting your stuff in Q3 2028 as opposed to some stuff in Q4 2027.

So what would you pick? I mean, I could also just buy all 3...

I really want the big boxes for the three older Nemesis games but they are very expensive.

Anyone else thinking about getting them?

Anyone know if there is any information regarding their materials and construction? Considering the price i feel like they should be made of something other than cardboard.. Or at least have some nice features like magnets etc where it makes sense..

I own Retaliation and some add-ons. With the new Legacy campaign, I want to buy some of the add-ons I missed from the original Retaliation campaign, and noticed that the Untold Stories #4 add-on features a comic book.

Is the comic book worth it? If so, I noticed there's also Untold Stories #1 and #2 as add-ons for the OG Nemesis. If I don't own the OG Nemesis, shuld I still buy those for the comic books? Are they worth it from a lore perspective?

Finally, what happened to Untold Stories #3?

Hey guys just a kindly reminder of how to behave as Nemesis Legacy Campaign has started. After several campaigns remember to:

1. Order stuff

2. Forget about it after campaign finishes

3. Complain about inevitable delays (very important!)

3a. Bonus for complaining about translation or art

4. Post when you receive your copy so those without it can complain more

5. Receive your copy, be happy

6. Have fun playing with friends as all the games or awesome.

7. Wait for a new campaign.

I’m a bit torn between the the 269 Euro and the 129 Euro versions.

The Secret Add-on is priced at 35 Euro ($40). I mean if I’m lucky, someone here saw a podcast or something that has a hint of what it is.

My best guess is that it’s something cosmetic. If it were new playable characters / new alien enemies then they would have just told us or something to sell more.

Personally I’m probably leaning towards the 129 Euro backing ($144). Legacy games are HECKA long, I’m guessing base Legacy has 12+ playthroughs minimum. and it’ll take my group more than 1-3 years to play. We’re still finihsing Clank Legacy 1 and I’ve owned Clank Legacy 2 for like 2-3 years.

So all I have currently is the OG Nemesis game and I want to buy all the expansions plus some cosmetics like the terrain pack and constructs pack. (This is my first pledge of any game btw)

I was wondering how they priced addon shipping in the retaliation pledge? I added like 8 addons and was thinking maybe the captains pledge would be a better deal if I got everything.

Also it’s really adding up so I was wondering if the pledge reopens, maybe I only buy some stuff now and some stuff in the reopening to split up payments? Hopefully that makes sense.

Apparently base pledges shipping costs are at 23€, but can someone tell me how much will be added if I add a pack of sleeves?

It looks like to me only the big boxes and pvc cards. Is there anything else thats hidden amongst the mountain of items that's brand new?

If anyone has happened to play test legacy here, I'd be curious to hear your experience.

I love the idea of Alien: the board game, and I've had my eye on Nemesis for years. With the new campaign live, does it make sense to go for the OG nemesis, or does Nemesis Legacy also fit that bill?

I'm specifically looking at the infinity version to play a number of one-offs with my group. It'd be great to do the campaign sometime too, but I'd want to make sure that Nemesis Legacy works as a one-shot game first.

I've heard OG had some jank, and I'm hoping that the new title has some of that polished up.

I noticed that the enemies are compatible with Nemesis Retaliation. Any ideas if it will be worth buying it without Nemesis Legacy?

And also new characters. Although I feel like AR will half-ass the rules to make them playable in Retaliation. They have a habit of putting all their effort in their core games and everything else the rulebooks are extremely messy.
