I will be hosting a boardgame weekend with a maximum of 8 players. I would love to play nemesis with all of them. I have the OG nemesis, aftermath, and lockdown. For alien expansions, i have voidseekers and chytrids.

I know someone can be the one to control the aliens, but I think I would prefer each of us to play a character instead. Because our group loves betrayals 😂
What house rules would you recommend for 7-8 players to make the game still difficult?
Are there characters that absolutely can't be played together?
OG or Lockdown?

Can the convict die from a larva at the end of the game or by getting a second larva on the board?
So finished my first session of Nemesis Retaliation, three handed solo.
Got one marine out via the escape shuttle, completed the objective, killed the queen - 2 dead and one escaped infected so no win.
A lot of fun, and more intense than I thought it would be. Relentless swarms of aliens, brutal attack cards.
Nothing is forgiving in this game, lol.
Thank for all the help I got from you guys, think a lot of your comments kept me alive a lot longer than otherwise. Especially moving cautiously!

Having missed the Retaliation campaign, it's finally hitting retail next week. OG is one of my favorites of all time, and I've been enjoying Retaliation even more in TTS. I'm planning on getting the core box, the support squad expansion, the stretch goals box, and mmmaybe the Xyrians (man the campaign was a good deal). Question though...the Gamefound description on the classic crew expansion makes it sound like it's just the figures and it's not needed if one has OG and/or Lockdown.
How does using the characters from OG work in Retaliation...just use their same decks from OG?

I just wanted to share a custom 3D print that I just finished. I was annoyed by the fact that when you wanted to play with character from a different game version, you had to get a lot of box out, and search for the adaptivity card.
So I made this for every character except Retaliation (since Retaliation character can only be played inside Retaliation).
Each box is made so that you don't have to search and find which card you need to use. You have a separation for each game when needed.
I can finally play with all character on whatever version of the game without wasting a lot of time searching for it !
Of course, this print is mostly for people that have all versions of nemesis.

In the rulebook when a player is in the Resolve Phase, in the Exhaust Dice step it says to exhaust all dice from enemies. If an undefeated alien has the dice removed due to the exhaust dice step does that mean it goes back to full health? or we just need to mentally remember how much health the alien has left for subsequent turns?

Forgive me if this has been answered but I can't find and answer and while it ultimately doesn't matter it's irking me.
These objectives say:
Last Stand:
Send the Signal & the Nest must be destroyed
//
Send the Signal & the Facility must be destroyed
The Great Hunt:
Send the Signal & the Queen must be killed
//
Send the Signal & the Facility must be destroyed.
My question is, does the Facility being destroyed not necessarily kill the Queen and destroy the next? Why is the facility destroying quest printed on the card if its not possible to complete it without already completing the first objective?
