Not interested in Nemisis Legacy

I don't know what it is, but I have OG Nemesis and Nemesis retaliation, and I just feel satisfied. If I want horror I go Nemesis, if I want action I go retaliation. I just don't have a hole for legacy to fall into. It looks cool but I just don't feel any need for it. Anyone else feel like this?

I wish Wendy would record the entire reading. Feels weird without him.

Starting to dive into the full story, I drive a lot so this is easier for me. I'm going to have to pause it every five minutes though and make some jokes to myself...

Has anyone tried Hercules and the 12 labors?

I've been seeing this around my LGS and I was wondering if anyone has tried it? I've never seen it talked about but it has decent reviews. Just wondering if anyone here has tried it.

Deep regrets was not a regret

I have been playing this a ton with my family. I've been trying to find a game that clicks with me solo outside of LOTR and Cuthulu LCG. This finally scratched the itch. It's so chill, and writing down the fish you catch is such a nice touch.

This morning I made my coffee, sat down and fished for 29 minutes and it was so chill, I loved it. This has easily become my chill out and relaxing game. Glad something finally clicked.

Deep regrets

Had an absolute blast playing this game and I'm going to be honest I didn't expect to. Push your luck games aren't really my thing but I think the theme really holds this one together. Incredibly fun.

Had a blast playing my own created mission

Had an absolute blast playing PVE. I used my opr dwarves as the npos. The mission was to go to every console and hack it with a 3 up. On a fail roll a three-sided dice to see how many reinforcements they get. Then roll a four-sided dice to see which side of the board they come on. Lost about half the team by the end but it was worth it.

I hate what into the spider verse did to animation

The movie was ok, still think a bit overrated, but WHY THE HELL IS EVERYONE ANIMATING AT 1 FRAME A SECOND?! It looks like shit and I'm so sick of it. It's not style it's shit. It worked in the spider verse because it looked like a comic, everywhere else it looks like they are doing everything to save a buck. Can we make smooth animation cool again?

AI is crumbling the Cyber security space.

NIST is THE data base for all cyber security vulnerabilities. AI is writing so much bad code and then finding that bad code NIST said screw it we can only look at about 10% of all vulnerabilities and your on your own for the rest. This is a massive deal. Now if someone breaks a program you use NIST is saying well that sucks we aren't going to help you patch it any more

NIST is surrendering to the amount of CVEs coming in

https://www.nist.gov/news-events/news/2026/04/nist-updates-nvd-operations-address-record-cve-growth

NIST can't keep up with the amount of CVEs coming in any more. They are now only reviewing "important"CVEs. Pretty much only if they affect the government, or if they are already known! This is going to leave close to 90% of their CVEs not reviewed.

So what do you all think of this? I think this enforces AI is not taking our jobs any time soon as look how undermanned NIST is.

Edit I tossed in the AI part because it's exhausting how many times I hear, is AI going to take your job?! No, it's not

We just moved into a new house and we are setting up a stand alone office/boardgame shack. It's not insulated at the moment but we are working on it. My wife wants me to keep my large collection out there but I'm worried about doing that because we live up in the mountains and it can get really cold some nights then back to a normal temperature. I'm worried about warping and damage to them even after it's insulated because it can't temp control it. Am I being overly cautious or should I not keep them out there. For context I have games like Nemesis retaliation, STALKER, and some other large not in print games.
