How would someone with dreads go about using minoxidil and finasteride?

i’m noticing my hairlines seen better days and i’m a bit paranoid about the top of my head. i wanna try hop on minoxidil and fin and stay long term if i don’t get hit with any side effects. the only thing i worry about is the hair shedding. i understand that it causes sheds but what i do NOT want is dreads falling. if it sheds i’d rather my hairline shed and id rock hats for a while rather than losing dreads on the top of my head.

idk if i have a misunderstanding of the shedding, maybe it’s rather minimal but id rather ask. i will go to a dermatologist before i fully commit (also when the moneys right) but some perspective or info from someone who understands this well or is on it would be super. i also wanted to ask which type would be best because i think theres minoxidil you put directly in your hair or minoxidil you ingest. this is all stuff ill ask the dermatologist when my pockets are right but any help now will be super 🙏

6 days in (or 7 i’m not sure). Mentally i feel my best

I’ve tried to quit many times before but my motivators being how it may affect my sex life and how i don’t want to be an old person with a crippling addiction has been keeping me going.

Every time i see something on instagram or tiktok or reddit that would usually cause me to go looking for more similar stuff like that, i feel more strong willed to either close the apps or scroll away and not think about it again.

Hopefully i can keep this up but i feel at my best right now

Redmi pad 2 or huawei matepad se 11?

I need a tablet for general tablet stuff, uni pdfs and maybe for notes. I don’t particularly need a stylus with palm rejection and all that because my hand writing sucks and i’d rather just type.

These two tablets are the only ones available in my price range and the xiaomi redmi is the 4gb version and the matepad the 8gb. The only thing i really hate about the matepad is the lack of google, i’ve had a huawei phone so i know it’s usable but it’s irritating.

On the other hand the better ram and the stylus (no need to charge it and palm rejection) seem like good features that could be useful.

The redmi pad ram is annoying but having the ability to download anything and getting a keyboard case or a cheap stylus and using my keyboard area for handwriting to text could also work for me. I’d like to get anyone’s thoughts on this because i am a bit stumpe
