Circle, Kahle, Octopus, or something else for live shrimp under cork?

I am relatively new to saltwater fishing but have been having a blast catching trout, mangrove snapper, redfish, and of course hardheads while wading around mangroves. I use a small weighted popping cork with live shrimp under. I currently use #2 circle hooks, but feel like a lot of the time I miss the fish. Also, I know that circle hooks set themselves, I am not trying to set them.

My question is, what hooks would you guys use? Bigger, smaller, a different style? I am thinking about switching to more like a 1/0 Kahle.

I am looking to take over someone’s sublease for the 2026-2027 academic year. It would need to be in either Alsander, Lark, or The Metropolitan.

This is for my girlfriend, so female roommates only.

Please either DM or send offers in the replies. I have already posted on Facebook as well. Thank you everyone for your help.

Thought my sweet boy was just impacted. Took him to the vet, found feces blocked by a large mass / tumor. I don’t have the money for surgery, but even if I did, the vet explained that a mass this size can’t just be taken out anyways. I don’t want him to suffer. The tumor is the darker portion on the right causing the lump.

It’s really hard to say goodbye. He got me through the most difficult parts of my life.

Right now I am planning on euthanasia and cremation. I already took him out for final pictures in a natural setting.

I’m sorry for anyone else who has had to go through this.

Want to take my pet ball python in to get looked at. Please give recommendations for affordable options.

Does anyone know what UF small animal clinic would charge?

I am starting to get concerned that my boy is constipated or has some kind of serious problem. He has this lump toward the lower third of the body that I am worried is impaction. Please look at the pictures I attached and let me know if you guys think I need to take him to a vet or if I’m overreacting.

For context: my snake (Reggie) was captive bred and I have had him since he was 8 months old. He was born in 2018. He has had zero health issues. He hasn’t ever had problems shedding or pooping in the past. That being said, I am a little concerned because he did just refuse food for the first time in a while. He has now not eaten for about 6 weeks, although he has skipped eating for longer in the past. His behavior is totally normal and he is very receptive to gentle handling, although I rarely handle him. He is in a 4x2x2 PVC enclosure with two hides, a 90F hot spot, and an ambient 80F. I usually feed a small rat once a month.

Any help is appreciated… I am hoping it’s just because he hasn’t pooped in a while, but if he needs help I really want to know.
