Hi there,
I'm new to the Digimon TCG and just keen to get some nice artwork cards to collect (any sets recommendations appreciated!), and have got a bit confused by the ID number of the above cards..
They all seem to be P-001 which I gather is a promo card, but why do they all have the same number despite all being different cards? How do you distinguish them without just comparing the look?
Thanks in advance!
Hi all!
I've only ever finished one project, and that was using shellac but didn't end up quite as I'd hoped, as I think I dried it too cold and it went white-ish!
This box is made of beech, and will have some felt covering the hole markings, plus some magnets when complete. But I'd like to get my finish ordered in advance, and I've been flip-flopping about regarding which finish would be best.
Initially I was sold on Osmo polyx, then danish oil, but this box will get a lot of use and be chucked in a bag daily and then popped on a desk at work (it's going to have ophthalmic lenses in when finished).
I use alcohol gel on my hands so shellac alone is probably out for this reason.
I worry that the hardwax oils or danish oil might not be hard-wearing enough - although some say mixing varnish with danish oil can help?
Or would some sort of lacquer or varnish be more appropriate?
Any tips on which to use and how to apply are much appreciated! 🙏
Hi there,
Junior resident here - I feel like I continually get confused by the use of pilocarpine in AAC, and when it's appropriate Vs when it might make things worse.
I get that miosis can pull the iris tissue out of the angle, allowing aqueous to access the TM. But if pilocarpine also causes the lens-iris diaphragm to shift forwards, isn't this simply worsening pupillary block? Is it a balance between the two, and the miotic action wins?
I've also had several scenarios where there has been at least a fair phacomorphic component to the AAC, so I've been quite nervous to prescribe pilo, but my senior colleagues aren't worried and give this anyway. The rational given is that the greater component of the AAC is due to pupil block and so the pilo will be helpful. Any tips on how to judge this? 😅
Any advice on the use of pilocarpine greatly appreciated, especially if delivered as if I'm 5 years old!
I'm looking at using some round NRE magnets to hold a small wooden box closed without an external latch, but want to still be able to physically open it without it feeling welded shut.
The hinged box will be ~3-4inches in diameter if that helps picture it!
I've found some 6mm x 6mm magnets which would pop into drilled holes, and provide 1.4kg of staying force - this might be an impossible question, but has anyone used something similar before and would this be a secure closure without becoming very difficult to open?
Thanks :)
Hey there - I love this watch and have worn it every day for the last 6 months or so, but wanted to bring in the changes strap-wise.
I've bought the 3-link Tudor strap, but wondered whether anyone had experience with the Uncle straps versions - would I be able to swap out the middle links with faux rivets but keep the end links?
I asked about their middle link size, and they said "The 1450 has a 10mm center link with and the Senator has a 8.8mm center link width."
Do either of these match with the OEM sizing?
Thanks :)
On the wiki it's quite clear that the goggles come with the heart at the end of the tree, and I could have sworn I saw them there before... Where have the gone???
