What is something nice that I can do for my wife during the newborn phase?

Context. Baby is breastfeeding so wife has to be available every few hours. I want to send her to go get a pedicure, hang out with some girlfriends, or something, but she feels like she can’t because she can’t stay away from baby for too long. She does not want to do bottles so that is not an option.

Obviously I help whenever I can but I feeding schedule limits a lot. So what can I do to help her relax and/or have fun for an afternoon or night? I give her massages every night and rub her feet but I want to do something special. Thanks in advance.

I made it to MasterBall rank with an all Ghost Team!

This is Single Battles. Dark types gave me a lot of trouble, especially Meowscarda with Choice Scarf and Kingambit. But I did it!

Going to try an all Ghost Team for Doubles next season.

You have an opportunity to make $5k for every wasp that you kill. You will be locked in a 15x15ft room, and you must choose the number of wasps you will fight before the challenge starts.

Basically title. You can choose however many wasps that you want to fight and will receive $5k for each wasp killed. You must choose how many wasps you will fight before going into the room of wasps.

So if you chose to fight 10 wasps, you’d be locked in a room with 10 aggro’d wasps, and would receive $50,000 upon completing your he challenge.

Rules.

  1. You’re only allowed to wear a pair of jeans and a cotton t shirt, so no protective gear.
  2. You’re allowed a pickle ball paddle as a weapon and that’s it. No chemical sprays.
  3. Let’s say they’re Yellow Jacket wasps specifically and they’re angry.

How many wasps are you choosing to fight?

Edit: the range in numbers is very interesting lol.

What are you dads watching on tv in front of your 2-3 year olds?

Ours doesn’t really watch when mom and I are watching tv, but we also don’t want our kid to see anything too bad. What are you guys watching?

I’m reading the books for the first time after being a long time fan of the movies. The scene where Gandalf and Saruman meet in the tower to talk is sooo much better in the books!

The book version is so much better. I never knew how different it was? The movie basically portrayed it as a wizard battle but the book was much more like a menacing and tense conversation.

I loved the build up of the conversation too. What started out as Gandalf seeking council from an old friend slowly turned into a reveal that Saruman is no friend at all. I loved it so much that I re read that whole scene over again lol.

Why did they change that scene for the movies? It’s so good!

  1. You’re only allowed to leave your house on weekends. You must be back by Sunday at midnight or else you lose the 10 million. If you’ve spent it and can’t repay, you die.

  2. You’re allowed to work remotely if you want.

  3. If a holiday, like Christmas or New Year’s, is on a weekday, tough luck, you have to stay home.

  4. You’re allowed to move houses once every other year if you want to. Moving must be done during the weekends.

  5. You’re not allowed to Uber Eats, Uber Delivery. You must do your grocery shopping on weekends when you are allowed to leave.

  6. You’re allowed to leave your house in case of emergencies, like a fire or a natural disaster, but you must be in a new home within a week.

Do you take the money? Why or why not?
