Just looked at buying some shoes on eBay, a style I’ve been after and good price. Call me overly sensitive but the sellers mucky footprints were still visible, that rolled up dirty little bits that are probably skin and moisture. Fair enough, but lazy…but great condition and a style I wanted. I can scrub the inside. Anyway, in the description she writes, lovely shoes, I’ve lost weight so they’re too big for me now. I don’t know why, it just really annoyed me so I didn’t buy them. Foot grime I can cope with but “someone with fat feet might like these” was a step too far. UK6 just in case anyone cares.
What puts you off in a description wording? Is there anything that makes you instantly a “nope”

Edit to add- the grimy footprint put me off and I was wondering if they’d feel clean if I used disinfectant wipes but the weight loss comment sealed my decision not to buy. These were “worn once” heels and a discontinued shoe that I’ve been searching for

My friend has recently mentioned a minpin in need of a new home. Very sad circumstances but he is very loved and adored by his owner. He’s 12. My daughter has just got her own place and I’m just looking for advice on whether they’re a good fit. My daughter works 8 hour shifts but friends will pop in to sit with him and let him out into the enclosed garden. She would take him most places with her. We would look after him if she needed us too. He’s quite mature would we need to have a vets fund on standby. Would he be ok left up to 4 hours? Is it a good idea? I want him to be happy as he will miss his lovely owner. It’s really sad circumstances his owner adores him. She’s extremely poorly. He sounds like a wonderful dog and if we don’t offer him a home he will have to go to a local dog charity. After 12 years in a loving home I reckon that might make him very sad. Any advice very welcome please.

A disabled gentleman has had his mobility scooter stolen in Kensington. If anyone sees one that looks dumped can you post here. I’m awaiting more details and will update with description asap

The gentleman is willing to pay a small reward for its return. I’m not sure anyone kind enough to help him get it back would take the money but he wanted to offer it

I’ve just bought and set up a small recording set up. I released a book in January and I’d like to record my own audiobook. I have a very slight lisp when I say R. It’s only slight but I’m concerned it’s going to annoy listeners (if I’m lucky enough to have any) would it get on your nerves or should I just go for it?
