Best place to stay overnight in Bucerias?

Wife and I are landing at Puerta Vallarta next month and going to drive up toward Tepic.

On the first day we land we expect to be tired and dont plan to drive too far. Is the Zona Dorada in Bucerias a good place to get a hotel and possibly walk around for dinner and maybe the beach?

Any advice appreciated.

So much trouble using Smooth-Cast™ 305 and SO-Strong™ Color Tints for Urethane

I am casting small pieces with a total of about 20 grams of resin (about 10 grams A and 9 grams B) with .05 grams of the color tint (one drop).

I add the colorant to the 9 grams of B and mix well and then combine with the 10 grams of A and mix well and pour.

However, I continue to have "wet" surface results with the colorant.

Any thoughts?

Authentic Tacos in CDMX, MX

Doesn't get more taco than this.

Had some amazing tacos at Tacos Miguelito in CDMX, Mexico. The staff were super great and the owner is a very nice lady. They also have an assortment of salsas ranging from standard green and red to tamarind based sauces.

I watched some world cup matches here and drank tons of beer. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Not a great photo but, here are some tacos:

  • Al Pastor
  • Suadero
  • Tripas
  • Asada

I forgot which were which.

Going to Mexico City next week, it's going to rain all week!

[se habla español e ingles]

I am going to CDMX next week for 2 weeks! It looks like it is going to be raining a lot. I love the rain.

I have a long list of food and places to checkout. I plan on avoiding "fancy" restaurants and plan to eat like the locals.

Given the weather forecast, do you have any tips or guidance on what to do or not to do?

I will be staying near El Angel de Independencia.

For more background I will be going with my wife [late 20's, early 30's]. We both speak Spanish and are of Mexican descent.

I opened the CSP card last year in May 2025 with the 100K pts incentive. I received a credit limit of $5000.

Since then I have used it as my primary card and paying off balances.

My credit score sits at about 700 +/- depending on the bureau. My income is $130K per year.

I don't need the limit increase, but can I expect one soon?
