Im not into decision theory, but I went down into this rabbit hole tonight. CDT vs EDT, FDT and friends.

What I found interesting that despite your need for perfect predictors and contrafactuals I havent ran into using quantum phenomena in your thought experiments (yet).

E.g. the contrafactual mugging experiment could be set up so the coin toss is a beam splitter and you paying or not paying the $100 is the analogue of the bomb being a dud in the Elitzur-Vaidman experiment. (the predictor, or Omega or whomever will interrupt the beam depending on you paying/not paying)

This way you dont need to do all the handwaving around a "perfect predictor", you can set up the experiment, that the predictor actually knows with 25% chance if you had paid if the coin toss went the other way.

So you can set up the expected payoff depending on a contrafactual with certainty. I guess this is a different experiment, but maybe worth using it to test your flavours of decision theory.

If this spawns a paper please credit me with my username. If this is old news, please help me learn and link me to how you handle the fact that contrafactuals arent necessarily physically causation free.

Im gettin a bit desperate.

So Ive been feeding 3 couples of crows in a closeby park for some weeks.

They pretty obviously recognise me. They come about 0.5m from me if im sitting, 1.5m if im on bike. theyve been sometimes following me around on rooftops when im shopping or walking somewhere in the neighbourhood.

I live in a multi-story building and i have a balcony. yesterday i saw 2 crows eyeing me from a closeby tree (i can only recognise 2 crows and they werent them, but im 80% sure they were one of the couples i fed).
i also see magpies and a european jay in those trees. and id love to feed my crows on my balcony and the other corvidae would also be great. (those didnt give a fuck about me so far but the jay is just such a lucky find. i mean its a pretty rare bird here and im not even livin close to actual forests or nature)

anyways. my problem is the following: im not keen on pigeons. and they do live on my roof and on ledges of my building. even more importantly 2 years ago i was abroad for 3 months and they nested on my balcony. after long consideration i did let them raise their children without bother (i essentially didnt use my balcony for some months and let them ruin it hard, but i didnt want to hurt a bird).

i succeeded in keeping them away since, like once a month they fly on my railings, but i scare them away.

so my problem is id love to attract all 3 kinds of corvidae to feed on my balcony. also would be nice specifically for my kinda-bro crows to connect the park me to the balcony me and come here also.
but i want pigeons to have 0 plus attraction to my balcony (i guess crows can also help with that)

what should i do? how would you approach this?

Tudom hogy ez egy abszolút gyakorikerdesek szintű kérdés, de már évek óta keresem.

Maga a zene ilyen tribal edm jellegű, stílusra a "Axel Thesleff - Bad Karma"-ra hasonlít. A háttérvokál pedig úgy hangzik, mintha azt énekelnék "teszkós ivóle", több embert is hallottam 2018 körül pesten így hivatkozni rá.

edit: az még fontos lehet, hogy a vokál nem európai nyelv. vagy halandzsa vagy valami dél amerikai / afrikai nyelv lehet.
