Bloomsbury has discussion questions for each book available on their SJM Activities website (here)!🧐

Given that A Court of Frost and Starlight is supposed to set up the character arcs to be explored in the subsequent “spin-off” books (acosf, acosh, acofme, aco8), I thought it would be fun to go over its discussion questions heading into acosh release day!!

Two questions really stood out to me as good prep for acosh:
👀Question 3 - I love that they called out Aranea’s tapestry…🕷️✨
👀Question 6 - We know that Cassian’s interpersonal issues were explored in acosf, and that Azriel’s POV is coming in acosh… could this discussion question also hint at Mor’s POV coming in acosh? When I first read the teaser from the female POV about not letting “this creature” bring her to her knees again, I immediately thought of Mor interacting with Keir or Eris…

Officially starting a petition for SJM to be freed from whatever basement that Bloomsbury must be keeping her locked up in!!!! Why aren’t they marketing her books???

My Alex and Ani stuff came in the mail today and the packaging was soooo pretty I had to share!! This looks like the Maasverse equivalent of the Doors of Durin✨ I’m hoping this is an official SJM graphic because I am obsessed!!! It looks like a combination of the logos for all three of her series 🥹

Remember when Alex Cooper posted a picture of this flower arrangement right before she announced her interview with SJM? I think it’s safe to say that this arrangement was a gift from SJM to Alex… and now I’m wondering, was SJM hinting at Amarantha’s involvement in the next books? Could Amarantha be a surprise POV? Or perhaps the IC will try to communicate with Amarantha in the spirit world… or raise her from the dead in order to find out where she put the sword Narben?
A common name for the amaranthus flower is “love-lies-bleeding” 🥀

Alex: Are Bryce and Hunt endgame?
SJM: Yes—what—I don't—where does that come from—how could the?
Alex: Well, there are a lot of theories that Bryce's true mate is Azriel. Is there any truth to that?
SJM: No [scoffs], I can I can tell you right now, I’m sorry to anyone that's shipped that and has like been like ride or die with that, but like no [unintelligible mumbling]…it’s Bryce and [pauses…] [5 hours later] Hunt.

First of all, a HUGE thank you to Sophia for bringing this Gandalf vs the Balrog-inspired piece to life. We are obsessed with her art style and can’t get over all the details 😍 it’s incredibly beautiful and epic and deserves all the praise. She perfectly encapsulated the demonic/ominous vibes we envisioned for Apollion as well as the ethereal, badass vibes for Bryce! 💖

Thank you so much for bringing this scene to life aolinkx 🥹 we adore the different expressions she gave each person—Cassian’s pride, Feyre’s exasperation, Ember’s “mmmhmm” face of agreement, with Randall and Azriel trying to not crack up in the background. Then there are the little details like the paint smear on Cassian’s nose and the way Cassian painted Bryce stealing the mask and truth-teller 🤣🤣🤣 seriously, we can’t thank her enough for sharing her talent with us!💖

What would it look like if you took SJM’s Twilight of the Gods Pinterest board, and turned it into a movie trailer? Here’s my attempt!

Sarah J Mass used to have a very active Pinterest account where she would gather inspiration for her stories… she had separate boards for TOG, ACOTAR, Crescent City, and Twilight of the Gods. Sadly, these public repositories of clues got taken down around the time the Crescent City series was announced.

I am a Twilight of the Gods (TOTG) truther— meaning I believe that this Pinterest board represents the next series SJM is working on. And given the contents of the Pinterest board… I believe that the series will be an “Avengers Endgame” style crossover between all of the worlds that SJM has written in so far (and probably some new ones, too).
