Did I mess up?

I'm decently new to using MacBooks. I wanted to change my username and I went into settings to do so and where it said user name in user info I changed it but then found out that's dangerous?? I quickly changed it back to what it was before but is the damage done? Did I mess up? Please I cannot afford to brick a $1.6k laptop. I didn't do it in advanced settings I did it in the part where you can change the password and profile picture as well. Help please :')

Adjusting to life w/ reactive hypoglycemia

Earlier this year at 23 years old I had a pyloroplasty due to worsening gastroparesis. I was doing somewhat well until earlier this summer I started to get very sick after consuming carbs and simple sugars. I spoke to my doctor and was made aware of reactive hypoglycemia. Before I got sick I loved sweets, and potatoes, and toast. I’ve been able to adjust somewhat, changing up my diet to high proteins and fats, substitutes like sprouted seed bread, fruits when I want something sweet, but I miss certain things terribly. I miss ice cream, and cakes, cookies, etc etc etc. most of all. I was very curious if anyone knew of any low gi brands of sweets or ice creams or anything along those lines? Even just snacks in general. Maybe even recipes? It’s already hard being young and sick but now having to cut out all of my favorite foods has taken a bit of a toll on me mentally. I would love to hear what you guys like!

International outage

Is anyone else in Canada still experiencing the international data roaming outage? I have had to buy an eSim because I have absolutely no data through roaming. Can’t call, send texts, use basically anything that requires internet on my phone. Verizon is not being very helpful either. Anyone else?

Throwing up?

I had a Toupet Fundoplication (not as common as Nissen, I know but still curious I’m sure someone has had it) about 8 weeks ago and still struggling a lot with my body trying to throw up. It’s actually one of the worst parts of recovery. I’ve thrown up in my mouth once and tasted acid one other time but I’m wondering has anyone at any point no matter how long in recovery from TOUPET been able to throw up again? I almost miss it..? My doctor said I could be able to in a couple years but I’m looking for personal first hand accounts. Anyone?

Ticket transfer worries

Hi! So I want to start this by saying I don’t go to a lot of concerts and I have never ever used ticketmaster before. Recently I bought resale tickets and today they were finally transferred and I didn’t notice until it was too late that the email on ticketmaster had to be associated with the email I bought the resale tickets with. I did make an account recently to try and buy other tickets with my secondary email so I didn’t get flooded with too many things about shows. I received the transfer link to my primary email. Am I screwed??? Are they going to ban me for having a different email than I used to buy resale? I’m so concerned because I spent a lot of money on these tickets and they were additionally a gift for someone so. Please help!!! The tickets ARE there in the app and I even tried changing my email after the fact in settings (it refused to let me) so I’m super worried….
EDIT: I just went back in the app and it says unusual behavior detected and browsing activity paused oh god

Ticketmaster on AXS

I’m looking right now at tickets on AXS but I know the show was originally sold via Ticketmaster. Am I gonna get scammed if I buy through AXS resale?

Chance of reoccurrence?

I’m a little over 6 weeks post op for a MALS and SMAS release along with a Toupet Fundoplication and Pyloroplasty. I was wondering if this is too soon for a MALS reoccurrence because the symptoms I’ve been experiencing are almost exactly the same as before surgery. Pain in the same spot, pain and severe nausea after eating, the pain only easing a little bit when i’m lying in the fetal position. My body tries to throw up but unfortunately due to the Fundoplication I no longer can, at least not right now. I usually wind up having rapid diarrhea when this happens after my body realizes it’s not going to come out the other way. I have little to no appetite but I’m not sure if that’s from possibly developing a fear of eating at this point. I’m very weak and exhausted and thought I’d finally feel better, but I feel just as bad as I did before surgery. Anyone else been through this?

Post-op question

As the title suggests, I'm currently just about one month post-op from a MALS release, Hiatal Hernia repair w/ Toupet Fundoplication, Pyloroplasty and ligament of Treitz release due to concern about SMAS as well. I know it may be a bit more than most people have had but I'm hoping maybe someone else has had some overlap. For some background I'm 23F and have been dealing with chronic illness since I was a very young child, I was finally diagnosed earlier this year with Nutcracker Syndrome which was subsequently followed by a diagnosis of a Hiatal Hernia, MALS, Gastroparesis and SMAS. Surgery went very smooth, my surgeon was incredible, one of the best in my city and really saved my life by giving me the ability to eat again. I ran into one complication that landed me back in the hospital unfortunately albeit unrelated to surgery, I caught a stomach bug that led to severe colitis and gastroduodenitis but that was a couple weeks ago and I've mostly recovered. I've progressed now to eating mostly solids and am doing well with that but the only thing I'm still struggling with is constant cramping for hours on end after I eat, as well as some strange hiccup like spasm? I'm no longer severely nauseous, vomiting every day or having diarrhea, which is honestly such a blessing. MALS is not easy as it is but even worse for someone bordering on emetophobic. All this to say, anyone else who dealt with similar after surgery? or had multiple surgeries like me?

Does it ever get better?

I’m almost a week post-op from multiple surgeries including a Toupet Fundoplication. I can’t even drink water without feeling like it gets stuck and I’m choking. I had multiple conditions that made it impossible to eat such as MALS, Gastroparesis and SMAS which were also fixed surgically last week on top of the sliding hiatal hernia. I’m also very young so basically my life has sucked and continues to suck right now. Anyways, despite it all I have always loved food, even though it did nothing but make me sick. I am so terrified I’ll never be able to eat normal again when getting these surgeries was supposed to help it. I had gastritis but I never felt insane reflux or heartburn so I’m wondering if it was a mistake to even get this stupid fundoplication which is currently in all honesty making me want to die. What’s my future looking like? Can I ever eat a burger again? A big slice of cake? A can a soda? Please god I need to know I didn’t just ruin my entire life by not being more informed before I let them completely change my stomach.
