• Condition: Centre Com prebuilt, clean. One RGB fan has a lighting defect (the fan itself still works).

Price: A$1,500 AUD

My main use case:

• Software development (VS Code, Docker, Next.js, Python)

• Local AI

• Heavy browser multitasking (lots of tabs)

• Virtual machines

• Rare 1440p gaming

A few questions:

1. Is A$1,500 AUD a fair price?

2. What would you rate this purchase out of 10?

3. Is there a noticeably better used or prebuilt PC I could get in Australia for under A$2,000?

I'm in Australia and my budget is up to A$2,000 (happy to buy either used or prebuilt).

I'll mainly be using it for:

• Software development (VS Code, Docker, Next.js, Python)
• Heavy browser multitasking (lots of Chrome tabs)
• Local Ai and virtual marchines
• Some 1440p gaming

I've found this used PC locally for A$1,500 AUD:

• CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K (AIO water cooled)
• GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti
• RAM: 16GB DDR4
• Motherboard: Z690 DDR4
• Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD
• PSU: 650W
• Centre Com prebuilt
• Clean condition
• Only issue is one RGB fan has a lighting defect (fan still works)

Before I buy it, I'm wondering:

• Is this good value for A$1,500 AUD?
• Can I get something noticeably better for under A$2,000 AUD (used or prebuilt)?
• If so, could you link any current deals or recommend specific models/builds?

I'm mainly looking for the best performance per dollar, not necessarily brand new.

Last night at Blacktown station two guys got into a fist fight. I stepped in to pull them apart and stop it before it got worse. Ended up missing my last bus home because of it.

While I was dealing with that, the guy who started it stole the other bloke's bike and took off. Police showed up shortly.

Instead of any acknowledgement for trying to descalate, one of the officers just chuckled at me for not calling 000 immediately. Like, bro, it literally just finished happening in front of me, I was busy trying to stop the punches, not on the phone. Zero thanks for doing more than most people would.

I get that cops deal with this crap daily at Blacktown and you're probably jaded, but a bit of basic respect or "good on ya for stepping in" would've been nice instead of laughing it off. The victim lost his bike and I wasted my night for nothing.

Hey everyone, I’m trying to seriously learn wedding videography and filming in general. I’ve already started learning editing and have been learning AE for a few months to build confidence with post production, but I still feel inexperienced with the actual filming side of things.

I understand basic camera concepts and I’ve been researching hybrid cameras like the sony zv-e10 and lenses commonly used in weddings, but I still don’t fully understand things like:

- how to actually shoot a wedding properly

- where to position cameras during ceremonies

- audio setups

- how people move around during real weddings without missing moments

I’m mainly looking for:

- YouTube tutorials

- TikTok creators/tuts

- Reddit threads

- Behid the scenes wedding shoots

- beginner/intermediate wedding filmmaking education

I’d especially appreciate creators that explain WHY they shoot certain angles/settings rather than just cinematic montages.

And also, if you were starting again, what would you learn first before trying to second shoot or film a real wedding?

Any recommendations would genuinely help a lot. Thanks.

I’m trying to find a TV series I watched on TV in Turkey sometime around 2012–2014. It may have been Turkish, Middle Eastern, European, or an international show dubbed to turkish/farsi

I don’t think it was Asian/wuxia, because I don’t remember the actors looking Asian, but I could be wrong.

Basic premise I remember:
There was a man, maybe around 25–40 years old, who had a young son under 10. The man was an expert in melee fighting/knives and had a secret identity as some kind of vigilante/fighter/outlaw. If his identity was exposed, he would become an enemy of the state.

His son knew his secret identity, and I think an old woman may have also known, as he regularly helped her.

In public, the man was known as a teacher. He taught a normal primary/elementary school classroom, and his son was in that class. The son’s friends/classmates did not know the father’s secret identity.

I don’t remember guns being involved. A knife seemed important to his fighting style. The clothing may have looked medieval/old-fashioned, but I’m not 100% sure. I don’t remember obvious Ottoman hats.

Specific scenes I remember:

1. In class, the teacher/father was facing the chalkboard. One of the son’s friends/classmates threw an apple at him. He turned around and caught it effortlessly, shocking everyone. It was a normal classroom with a chalkboard, definitely primary/elementary school.
2. There was a scene inside a tall building with wooden railings, where he was training his son in acrobatics using ropes, but he almost fell and his dad saved him by using his own rope and swining.
3. I remember a scene where a man’s tongue got cut off. (not directly, i just remember he couldnt talk, and then when he opened his mouth, he had no tongue)
4. I remember someone being hanged from a tree.
5. I remember a scene where someone’s hand was placed on a tree stump / chopping block/table for a crime, and it looked like their hand was about to be cut off with a butcher’s knife or cleaver, but it got stopped

Shows I’ve already ruled out / don’t think are it:

• Mercedize / Mr Mercedes
• Zorro
• Şubat
• 20 Dakika (2013)
• Behzat Ç.
• Filinta, main issue is that it doesn’t seem to have the father/young son setup

I’m offering 100 USD to whoever identifies the correct series, and an extra $50 USD if you can also find a website/source hosting it in good quality.
