Hey,

I am getting the above mentioned branch in uoh through csab. And i had some doubts about it.

1)How is the college environment( I've heard it's pretty good)

2. How are the hostels and mess( also let me know their fees)

3. I am actually thinking of partially dropping. So how hard is it to leave college after the first year(ie is there any problems that i may have to face or do you know smn who did the same?)

4. What is the scope in this branch? What roles and packages can i expect?

5. How lenient are the professors and overall academics? Will i get free time?

It would be really helpful if one of the seniors could answer this. Thank You🙏🏼

I am a gen male non up with 1 lakh jee main rank. Since i am not from up spot hi karna padega and I might get mechanical last year ke data ke according.

Anyone who was non up and got iet mech plss can you explain ki kya kya hota hai from allotment to physical reporting? Hostel milega ya nahi? And most importantly branch and clg life kaisi hai.

So i scored 58 in uga and couldn't clear the general cutoff

I am already a dropper so this year i will be joining a college through my score in jee main.

So the thing is that i am considering leaving my college after the first year for isi bstat as i am not interested in engineering.

I just got to know about isi this year jan so i filled the form and took the exam without a lot of prep

I know i can clear isi next year with good and serious prep next year

I just want some advise from a senior or someone who got in this year.

I am good at math... But i did not go to coaching so i don't have a proper jee coaching background... I just barely qualified for jee advanced this year also..

Any seniors can advise me on the resources that i am doing.

Ctpcm for basic theory and Excursion for problem solving for NT, combi and geometry and for calculus ia maron( i am well equipped with the required theory at 12th level)....is all this enough or is there anything else i should do?

(Please consider that i will be in a clg most probably IET Lucknow)
