Asian Forest?

Was sold as an Emperor, but I have some strong doubts. This little one is about 1.5" maybe 2"

Not a tarantula, but I figured I'd be most likely to get answers here

Just recieved this little one in the mail. The last picture I believe is a picture of this spider when initially put up for sale. It was a pet of an employee, but I was told they aren't allowed to give out information on it. I'm curious if this is just heavily overfed, holding infertile eggs, premolt, or possible impaction. I'm not certain of the gender though, but it's adult size without palpal bulbs. The drastic color difference is just worrying me, but I have no experience with armored trapdoors.

If you have had armored trapdoor spiders, and have some input, that would be greatly appreciated. I assume I'm just overly worried about nothing, but want to make sure.

Thereuopoda longicornis

Enclosure: 25"×18"x19" Sterilite tub. A few inches of 60/40 Zilla jungle mix and reptisoil. They do not burrow, so any deep substrate is purely for moisture retention. Magnolia and oak leaf litter. Spagnum and frog moss. Tiny shallow bottle cap for a water source, as standing water and their long appendages make water surface tension a big drowning risk.

Male and female Java Orange Leg Giant House Centipede. Definitely overkill on size, but they are highly active, fast, and explorative.

Scutigera coleoptrata

15x12x11 tub with reptisoil. Room is 45 to 50 humidity and 78°f. Ceiling fan on low setting for airflow. Occasional cycling of ac to keep ambient temps.

My plan is to use the lid to regulate the humidity in the enclosure. Does this look like enough ventilation, while keeping adequate humidity? I'm also able to flip the lid to the otherside so there's only 4 points of contact. The lid is concave, so it would contain slightly more humidity than no lid. I'm worried about desiccation due to the room being 78 with a ceiling fan.

Any input to the enclosure? I'd prefer not drill holes in the tub.

Enclosure isn't necessarily finished. Just scraps of leftover cork bark I have.

Couldn't help a pet store purchase

My first ever "beginner" tarantula (20+ spiders). Always found Brachypelmas to be underwhelming because of seeing them so much well before even entering the hobby. The B. emilia is different however. The little mask is just so adorable.

Cellar spiders are so strange

Seeing cannibalistic spider hunters just clustered is wild. I knew they were tolerant of eachother, but this is crazy. Looks like a couple dudes looking for a good time, and a gravid female just trying to do her thing.

Rare occasion when your spider does exactly what you hope with your enclosure build

It has made dirt curtains to fully block off the half round, and uses the hole at the top as an exit. Won't last very long in the enclosure, because of size constraints, but hey, made an awesome display for a bit. It retreated because I moved the enclosure for pictures, but it sits at the entrance of the hole most of the time.

My Hogna lenta (white)

Such a cool looking spider. It's posterior eyes look so angry. Lol

So, I just rescued this lil fella from a pet store today. The enclosure was absolutely drenched. I've aired it out a bit and wiped off the sides that were completely filmed with water. Not even a mist. The substrate is still way too wet, but it looks and acts healthy.

My question is, do I leave it in this enclosure until a proper enclosure comes, or rehouse it in this catch cup? I hate not allowing it space to burrow, but I also dont want to keep rehousing it. I definitely dont want to keep it in this cup.
