I’m visiting for 3 days and I think I have a good understanding of what I want to do. I’ve looked at post’s here and think this is decent but would appreciate any suggestions.

I like hard hikes and don’t mind earning the views. But moderate is fine (although my moderate is other’s hard).

For context I’ve hiked all around Mt Ranier and did some strenuous hikes near Whistler all in the last couple weeks.

Day 1

Hidden Falls
Inspiration Point
Continue into Cascade Canyon as far as time and energy allow

Day 2

Delta Lake via Lupine Medow (incl. Taggart + Bradley Lake)
Schwabacher Landing at sunset

Day 3

Paintbrush Canyon morning

Then I’m thinking about heading into Yellowstone for one or two of the following (unfortunately can’t give a whole day to the park):
Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
Grand Prismatic
Hayden Valley
Old Faithful (if time allows)

Would you change anything?
Different order?
Better hikes?
Anything that’s overrated or a must-do?

Saturday July 25th planing on Wedgemount

I’m worried about the weather. It looks like it’s going to rain both days, or possibly just Saturday.

Any tips? I’m not super equipped for hiking in the rain. I have a good jacket and boots, but I don’t have the right pants. I should be good for Panorama, but Wedgemount is more technical, and I have a feeling it’s not smart to attempt esp if it’s raining.

Any tips or any suggestions otherwise? Maybe closer to Van if it does rain?

Doing a hike in the morning with a friend. I am torn between these two hikes. Because I’m doing a hike with a friend, not sure which one to do. Done tunnel Bluffs before, and love the views at the top. I heard Saint Marks is pretty busy. Any input on which hike might be better overall? Thank you.

I’m visiting a friend and my day cleared up tomorrow. Options I’m considering are doing two of these:

Hamilton Mountain
Dog Mountain
Falls Creek Falls
Ape Cave

Or doing one of these:

Mount Defiance Trail and Starvation ridge
Tunnel Falls

I did the Wahkeena/Multnomah loop and then Angel’s Rest immediately after a couple days ago.

I typically do 12-14miles regularly. Any recommendations? Or any highlight info?

Can anyone recommend a lightweight bag, preferably mesh, I can bring with me on hikes to pickup trash with?

I do a lot of 6-7 mile hikes and I always pick up trash on the way. This last hike I found a few off shoots where people threw a lot of plastic bottles and cans. I typically have a bag from grocery stores with me, but I found a lot this time and would like something that can carry more for situations like this.

Any recommendations would be great!

In general I don't push this laptop too hard, but I will soon be editing a good amount of videos and want this computer to run as smoothly as possible. Has anyone upgraded to 26.5 that was at 15.7? Any feedback so far? I read a lot of gripe about 26.0 in general, and a lot of people don't like apple glass. But I'm really looking at performance, esp battery. For whatever reason I have noticed my battery draining faster over the course of a few days when it's closed. But best I can find that's in general so it can wake up faster. Thanks!
