Wildcard basically made kill trackers meaningless. What is the new "scary" tracker now?

Im probably going to be downvoted to oblivion but Hear me out.

Before Wildcard, pubs were genuinely brutal.

Games barely made it past round 2, lobbies were down to 5 squads in the first few minutes, and finishing with 3 to 5 kills felt like a solid game. At least for me

Kill trackers meant something because earning them was genuinely hard.

Now with Wildcard, I am regularly walking away with 6 to 9 kills, 20 bombs every few days, and there are still squads alive afterward.

The mode is just fundamentally faster and more "kill rich."

It is not a skill thing. The format changed the math.

So here is my question:

If 50k kills on one legend used to be intimidating, and now anyone grinding Wildcard can inflate that number way faster, what is the tracker that actually carries weight now?

Wins still feel meaningful to me.

Finishers? Wins? What id it for you other than badges or kill trackers?

Also just noticed someone already has 10k kills on Axle with the legend barely being out. The kill economy is just different now.

What tracker do you actually respect?

The Problems With the Start of This Apex Season

This season honestly feels like one of the most frustrating starts Apex had since seer. There are so many balancing issues right now, and it genuinely feels like the devs keep repeating the same mistakes every season.

First off: Axel.

Why is Axel THIS strong?

Her tactical honestly id faster than Octane’s stim, which makes absolutely no sense. If you’re going to release movement legends this powerful then WHY were movement mechanics like punch boosting & bunny hop healing removed in the first place? & what about path finder?

Apex is supposed to be a movement game

And meanwhile older legends keep getting left behind.

Ash is one of the biggest examples.

I remember when Ash’s tactical would automatically stick enemies behind cover and deal 20 damage instead of 10. Now she feels terrible compared to newer legends.

Her dash cooldown takes forever, and the dash itself feels awful sometimes. It literally feels like an air brake. You’ll be flying fast and suddenly lose momentum when using it.

Meanwhile Axel gets insane movement for free.

Ash seriously needs help:

  • Buff her tactical significantly
  • Reduce dash cooldown
  • Make the longer ultimate range default instead of locking it behind perks
  • Rework her perks completely

I still main Ash, but sometimes she’s so frustrating to play that I genuinely have to switch legends.

And then there’s Pathfinder.

Pathfinder used to be one of the most fun and strongest movement legends in the game. Now he feels heavily nerfed compared to modern legends.

He used to have two grapples and actually felt rewarding to master his grapple (at least for me) Now it feels like every movement mechanic that made Apex unique got removed or nerfed over time.

Please fix Pathfinder too. He should feel like a top-tier movement legend again instead of getting outclassed by axle

And don’t even get me started on Conduit. Why did she get buffed a 5% boost while legends like Ash, & Path feel completely left behind?

Other problems this season:

  • Turbocharger either got removed or bugged
  • Ranked is miserable because of constant three stacks
  • Ranked rewards are weak
  • Dive trails being temporary was already bad
  • Now trails basically feel tied to mythic cosmetics

I still love Apex, but this season has been frustrating. If the devs have mentioned any planned changes for Ash, Pathfinder, or these balancing issues, let me know in the comments.

And if I missed anything, let me know so I can talk about it in more detail.

Does this look suspicious or am I overthinking it? (Slowed clip attached)

I slowed this clip down because something looked unusual to me, especially the way he seemed to stick closely to his teammate for a moment. I’m not trying to accuse or report anyone, and I could absolutely be misunderstanding what I’m seeing.

I just wanted a second opinion from people here before jumping to conclusions. Does this look suspicious to you guys, or does it seem legit/normal gameplay?

I attached the slowed-down version of the clip for context.

Apex Mobile Skins that never made it to game

Just a little community suggestion: is it possible to bring the Apex Mobile skin from the mobile game to the main game?
