LAST MINUTE APARTMENT NEEDED

my parents have decided very last minute that they will not pay for living on campus. because of the big beautiful bill i no longer recieve the pell grant like i did last year which has actually doubled tuition. i live in ladysmith. i can either commute or get an apartment. i will live with 6 people if i need to. i really dont want to commute because i fall asleep while driving. i would prefer to live with women/lgbtq people.

how to get distressed shape on denim?

i tried to look for tutorials but i dont know what to even search... i assume i cut the shape in the jeans, distress the edges, then sew the second denim onto the inside of the pant leg? if anyone knows a better way/good tutorial i would appreciate 😊

first sewing project ever

tailored these jeans from size 40 inch waist to size 34 inch. took me 2 days or probably 12 hours total after A LOT of struggling aligning the pockets correctly (and theyre still crooked but no one will notice). i didnt have gold thread so i just used navy blue instead. the brand is BANDOLINO and i thrifted them for $12!! any tips on aligning the pockets correctly (that doesnt require a second person) and how did i do???

raised/bumpy itchy lines

ive heard of tattoo raising due to weather changes, sweat, any kind of irritation, but its been like this for maybe 2 weeks now. im worried but i assume its fine, i just want some kind of peace of mind. its only the middle flower lining, the other two seem unbothered. i am a VERY sweaty person and im wondering if itll just stay irritated all summer ?? i got it in december, on the outside of my ankle
