Hit 200k last week

By far my favorite truck i own right now. Picked up this 2000 k3500 last January for 5k, and have put over 8k on it since. All my other rigs are squarebodies in and out of repairs/upgrades so this ol rig gets used alot. Roadtrips up into the hills and anywhere she fits 😂 doing the tranny fluid and oil this weekend before i help a buddy move a few rigs to the next town over. Other then the gas bill its hard to beat an obs

Pizza cutters

Anybody have any good recommendations for tall n skinnies? Recently picked up this C&C k30, and am thinking on keeping the narrow dually rear. Would like to run some 33s, but cant go much wider than 9.5s. Was looking at the samson trakers, spendy but theyd be boss on the ol rig, cant find much for reviews on em though. And for any wondering, the tires on it are not great. Someone did alot of work on this one then just parked it. All new hoses, accessories, some top end engine work, new tires. Sat so long the tires have flat spots and are bubbling. Still got the hairs on em too, crazy

Engine choices

Trying to make up my mind on where i want to go on engine options. Fixing up this '76 shorty k10, and right now its got a 250 i6, 4 speed/205 and 3.08 gears, riding on 33s. She aint no speed queen for sure. Trying to decide between doing a 4 barrel intake and headers on the 250, which ive figured to be about $1500, or put together a 350. I know with some room to breath the i6 can scoot a bit, and im not looking to hotrod the truck, just make a bit more highway driveable 😂. No 3.73 axles for sale near me right now unfortunately

4x4 or drop

Just picked up this $500 78 c10, i have an 81 k20 that i was thinking of body swapping, but its just nice enough that i also might put a 454/turbo400 i have out back in it and lower it. Kinda leaning towards lowering as i already have 2 k30s and a k10. Any thoughts out there?

Fuel saver

Gmt400 really has something for everyone. Bought this rig for $2k a few months ago, been a boon with the gas prices. V6 with the 5 speed, can drive 10 miles to work and back every day and barely move the needle. Much as I love my mean green gas guzzling machine, shes a pricey one to drive these days.
