Can anyone share the contact number of the girls’ hostel warden?

Hi everyone, I’m going to take admission in USICT, but hostel availability is a major concern for me because my family won’t allow me to move to Delhi unless I have hostel accommodation.

I found some landline numbers of wardens online, but they haven’t been useful. If anyone has the mobile/contact number of the girls’ hostel warden or hostel authorities, please share it.

Also, if anyone has any information about rooms currently available in Satpura or Nilgiri Hostel for MCA girls, please let me know. It would really help me make a decision about my admission.

Please help if you have any genuine information.

Help please

I’m a girl and honestly, I’m not very independent or street-smart. I’m quite introvert and have never lived away from my parents or stayed far from home.

I currently have two options for MCA: USICT (Delhi) or NIT Agartala.

The situation is a little complicated:

I’m from Rajasthan, and USICT is comparatively much closer to home.

NIT Agartala is extremely far away.

My parents are not comfortable with me going to Agartala, but if I decide strongly enough, I can fight them and go.

Academically/career-wise, I know NIT Agartala has the NIT tag, which makes the decision tempting.

But I’m worried about homesickness, loneliness, adjusting to a completely new environment, and managing everything independently for the first time.

My biggest fear is: what if I choose NIT Agartala for the NIT tag, but the distance, homesickness and difficulty of living independently end up affecting my mental peace, academics and overall MCA experience? Would that basically kill the advantage of choosing NIT?

On the other hand, choosing USICT would mean staying much closer to home and probably having a more manageable transition into independent life.

I’m not looking for a generic “NIT > IPU” answer. I want advice specifically considering my personality and circumstances.

If you were in my position, would you choose NIT Agartala or USICT, and why?

Please be brutally honest. I’m genuinely confused and need perspectives from people who have experienced either college or have lived far away from home for the first time.

TL;DR: Introverted girl from Rajasthan, never lived away from parents and not very street-smart. I have two MCA options: USICT (closer to home) vs NIT Agartala (very far away). My parents oppose Agartala, but I can still choose it if I fight for it. Worried that homesickness and difficulty adjusting to independence may outweigh the benefits of the NIT tag. What would you choose in my situation—USICT or NIT Agartala?

I repeatedly emailed and followed up with an national institute for admission ( pareshan ho gye), and now I’m not taking the admission — can I face any legal action?

I was initially unable to complete my admission at an NIT due to an unforeseen family medical emergency. Because of this, I sent several emails/messages to the concerned authorities requesting them to consider my case.

Today, my application was finally approved, but the concerned authority has not given me further instructions yet. The problem is that today is also the last date to take admission at another institute, which I am now planning to join.

I have also sent several follow-up messages because I was genuinely worried about losing both opportunities. One person even told me not to message again because I was “wasting my time and energy.”

Now I'm worried: Could repeatedly contacting the NIT or withdrawing/not joining after my application was approved lead to any legal action against me? I have not committed any fraud or submitted ( only mailed the correct documents) not false documents .I was genuinely dealing with a family medical emergency.

Has anyone faced a similar situation? What would be the safest thing to do now? Please give advice
