Stage 3 water restrictions

Regardless of peoples opinions on each other, the harassment is getting out of control. From here on further, repeated harassment will result in deleted comments, and possible further actions. Account imitating others for the sake of trolling will be deleted. You're free to appeal, but these actions are encouraging a toxic environment, and the additional moderating efforts are getting out of hand. We haven't had a day without automatic flags for more than a week now.
Go vote you fools. All political rhetoric in the world doesn't matter if we don't vote.
I don't know if you've heard or seen the videos, but our fellow Washingtonians need our help. There is a catastrophe falling on Spokane with houses already lost to the fire. Consider donating if you can.
Seriously, y'all better go turn in your damn ballots.
Is the tree project a Shane Park done? Got a kiddo who really wants to go and I haven't been over there recently. Couldn't find anything on the city website, but I was just hoping.
Restrictions have come a month early this year. The Elwha is a good foot below the low 13 year mean. We just are not getting enough snow and aren't keeping it long enough. We are in a D2 severe drought, with worsening conditions expected.
While voluntary, you need to start restricting your water use. Stop watering your lawn, stop washing your car (go to a car wash instead), ex.
The city offers programs for many water saving devices from rain barrels rebates to free low flow faucets attachments.
Also, I encourage some public shame for businesses and organizations with green grass. It's a luxury which puts our region at risk, and is completely unnecessary as our cool weather grasses evolved to go dormant in the hot summers.

... originally reposted to PortAngeles by accident. Really wish our town could only have one sub
"Spending locally doesn’t just solve problems - it fuels prosperity.
When dollars circulate inside Clallam County, they generate what economists call the local multiplier effect: each dollar spent creates 1.5 to 3 times its value in wages, purchases, and reinvestment. Money sent outside the county ends the cycle on the first transaction."
This is quote from Jake Seegers website.
But according to his PDC filings, his campaign spent $14,812.06 on signs, banners, and bumper stickers from a company in MA, not from any local business here in Clallam County.
If Jake is going to talk about keeping dollars in the community, his campaign spending should reflect that. And whose prosperity is he fueling? Not Clallam County. Here are the receipts.

Enlightening sermon by Jake Seegers. You should definitely just listen to his words.
[UPDATED] I'm hoping to co-create Port Angeles Earth Church soon and have a perfect location in mind for gatherings but am looking for alternatives -- parks that are easy for all to get to, ideally. We'll hold monthly gatherings OUTSIDE. No sermons, choirs (except birds), nor drum circles but an opening ritual, maybe a short reading, then wandering individually among nature surrounding us, followed by relatively short discussion of what we noticed, felt, thought about. If possible, concluding with music. Mid-morning on the 3rd Saturday, BYO lunch afterward if those who join choose to do that.
There's a national network (see link above), and there are gatherings in Sequim and Port Townsend already.
I have a perfect location in mind, so I've asked for permission to hold the gathering there, but that's iffy so I'm asking for suggestions. The outdoor site needs to be in a lovely area, open to the public, with roaming space, and ideally where people can get to it by bike, walking, or bus, not just by driving.
I'll appreciate any and all suggestions of locations to consider.

While eating my breakfast this morning, I looked at CCwatchdog to make sure my identity wasn't being posted. No identity, but they are already trying to call into question our local election system. They are setting it up to say the election was stolen if Seegers loses. Using the same playbook Trump did before the 2020 election.
