This is my first ever run and I’m playing in hard mode (switched from medium mid-game because why not make it even more stressful?), and I just keep dying - maybe 30 times or more - in the chamber room where I push down two levers and the rooms followed because IT. IS. EVERYWHERE. It is almost as if there are several of it in this area!

But my question is, is it learning about your moves, your hiding spots, timings, patterns, etc each time you die and respawn? It is almost as if the moment I respawn in the chamber room, it is already in the room and comes straight to me without going around much. I can’t even go around anymore at this point. I am certain that I am sneaky, silent and slow. It just knows. It gets smarter and smarter each time I start over. I know I can use distractions but I read that they don’t work much if you repeatedly use them because it learns about them too!

Is this correct or am I just too tired now? I started playing again half an hour ago after a good sleep and healthy breakfast but my blood pressure went up already and I feel like throwing the controller out the window.

I’ve started the game only last week - I was not looking forward to it a lot as a fan of the first game but here we go (went). Since I first heard Lou Graham talking all I can hear is Samantha Jones from Sex and the City; the voice, the intonation, I don’t know much about these terms but I believe you will understand what I mean. Is it me or did you guys notice the resemblance too?

I see mixed opinions about the fitting of these. Some say they are true to size, some say they are larger and usual and should go 1 size down. What is everyone’s experience?

I never used Hoka before but I tried on Bondi 9 in size W7.5 or 39 1/3 in the shop and they fit okay in length but a bit snug, probably would fit better after using for a while I guess? I suppose my feet are on wider side. I also wear 39 in Asics. I want to make the right choice, hope to get an idea here!
