Have you ever experienced something you still can't explain?

I've always been fascinated by the strange moments in life that make you stop and think, "Wait... what just happened?"

I'm starting a podcast centered around real conversations with real people, and I'm looking for people who have experienced something they still can't fully explain — a strange coincidence, a glitch in reality, a moment that felt impossible, or anything that stuck with them.

I'm not looking for made-up stories or anything over-the-top. I'm more interested in the genuine experiences people have had that changed the way they look at the world.

If you've had a "glitch in the matrix" moment and you'd be willing to talk about it, I'd love to hear your story. No experience needed — just a conversation with someone curious about the weird side of being human.

Looking for someone up for a random voice conversation 🎙️

I'm looking for someone who's down to hop on Discord and have a genuine conversation with a complete stranger.

I'm putting together a late-night call-in show where I talk to people about pretty much anything — life, hobbies, relationships, weird experiences, opinions, funny stories, or whatever naturally comes up.

There's no script and no pressure to be entertaining. I'm just interested in having a good conversation and seeing where it goes.

One important thing: the conversation would be recorded and potentially used for the podcast, so I'd make sure you're aware of that and comfortable with it before we start.

If you're down for a 20–60 minute voice chat, send me a DM and tell me a little about yourself.

I'm especially interested in people who enjoy talking and aren't afraid of a little awkwardness at first. That's half the fun.

Looking for someone who enjoys actually talking — voice chat

I'm looking for someone who's down to have a genuine conversation with a complete stranger.

I'm putting together a late-night call-in show where I talk with people about pretty much anything — hobbies, life, relationships, weird experiences, unpopular opinions, random stories, whatever comes up naturally.

No interview experience or preparation needed. I'm not looking for a professional guest. I'm just looking for someone who's comfortable talking and seeing where the conversation goes.

The conversation would be over Discord voice chat and would be recorded and potentially used for the podcast, so I want to be completely upfront about that.

If you're interested in talking for 20–60 minutes and don't mind being recorded, send me a DM and tell me a little about yourself.

Even if you don't think you have anything particularly interesting to say, you might be surprised where a conversation can go.

Looking for callers for a new late-night call-in podcast 🎙️

I'm putting together a late-night podcast where regular people call in and we just talk — no scripted interviews, no need to be famous, and no particular topic you have to stick to.

Could be:

A crazy story you’ve got

Something you've always wanted to talk about

An unpopular opinion

Relationships/dating

Work, life, money, hobbies, whatever

Or just call in and see where the conversation goes

You don't have to be an expert or have an interesting life. Honestly, the random conversations are probably going to be the best ones.

Calls would be recorded and potentially used in the podcast. You can stay anonymous if you'd rather not give your real name.

🎙️ Interested in calling in? Comment below or DM me and I'll send you the Discord/call-in info.

Looking for people who are willing to actually talk and have a good conversation. Could be a 10-minute call or we could end up talking for an hour.

Come tell me something.

Large Mirror (USA, New Bern, NC)

Hey guys so my grandmother is cleaning her house out and she has asked me to help her with getting rid of a large majority of her things. This is not new to me as i do plenty of buying/selling... however I have zero experience on antiques and I'm not exactly sure what we have here. I'd like advice on appraisal value or how to find it.

Details

• So this has been in my grandmother's house for the past several decades, she smokes in the house.

• I haven't measured the mirror but a rough estimate would be 5ftx8ft

• She said that this was in her childhood home when she was a young child (she's 70.) It wasnt new then. However I'm unsure of the exact age. It came from downtown new bern NC, by Tryon palace, which is also where her childhood home was.

• She said "it's coated in 14k gold." Upon my inspection which doesn't hold much value it looks like wood thats got a gold leaf coating. In decent condition for it's age but still far from great

• there are two broken pieces off of the ornament on top

• It is absolutely filthy but I have no idea how to treat this piece so I don't plan on touching it

I posted it on Facebook marketplace less then 24 hours ago. Listed with no price. My description was a little more detailed then this, but it was something to the extent of "not sure what we have, here's a little history, make an offer and buyer is responsible for moving."

Well I've had an influx of interest, mainly $100 offers here and there but I've got one serious buyer with a $700 offer that is trying to figure out moving logistics with a professional company currently. Now I'm second thinking the decision because I have no idea what the value of this thing is.

Not sure what kind of time frame this entails, however she said that "years ago" a professional appraiser came out and appraised at 28k.

Any advice is highly appreciated. God bless

Everyone has a story - looking for people willing to share theirs

I've always been interested in the stories people carry around but don't always get a chance to tell.

I'm starting a new podcast where I have conversations with real people about their experiences — funny moments, scary situations, lessons learned, strange encounters, personal growth, or anything else that helped shape who they are.

You don't have to be famous or have some unbelievable story. I'm honestly just interested in hearing how people think, what they've been through, and the moments that made them who they are.

If you'd be interested in sharing your story (or just want to talk about something you've experienced), feel free to reach out. No pressure and no professional experience needed — just a genuine conversation.

Career Advice

I'm 22 years old, and I honestly don't know what to do anymore.

I've struggled with severe anxiety for years. I was eventually diagnosed with panic disorder, but it wasn't caused overnight. The biggest turning point came while I was working for the railroad. I witnessed a traumatic incident, and although I managed to keep working for about four more months, that experience ultimately pushed me over the edge. I went out on short-term disability, tried to return, worked two days, and then left without notice because I just couldn't do it anymore.

I tried to move forward and recently took another manufacturing job. It paid in the mid-$20s per hour, which was already a significant pay cut from the railroad where I was making in the mid-$30s. I hoped that changing jobs would solve the problem, but the long hours, pressure, and constant stress brought me right back to having panic attacks at work.

Today, I left that job too.

I'm ashamed that this is now the second job I've left without notice because of panic disorder. I'm working with my doctor, but I'm starting to wonder if I'm chasing the wrong kind of career.

What I really want is a job that doesn't feel like it's harvesting my soul. I don't need to make six figures. At this point, I've accepted that I'll probably have to take another pay cut, and honestly I'd be happy making somewhere in the mid-to-high teens if it meant I could have a normal life again.

I just want a job where I can work, come home, enjoy my evenings, and not spend every day feeling like I'm barely surviving. I don't want to dread waking up every morning.

Has anyone here with panic disorder or severe anxiety found a career that actually works for them? What do you do? Did you have to completely change fields? What jobs have you found to be genuinely lower stress?

I'm open to any advice or personal experiences. I feel pretty lost right now, and hearing from people who've been through something similar would mean a lot.
