Feeling the weight of the world…

I am definitely feeling the weight of the world especially with having kids..Everything is feeling crazy and honestly I can’t believe what we as a people are allowing to continue to go on to roll over on our backs and let the government kick us around.. We have data centers polluting our waters . Siphoning our fresh waters.. lynchings .. poisoning of our food it feels like nothing is safe to eat .. but we continue to eat, we continue to pay bills .. we continue to act blindly like nothing is going on. What are we gonna do about it just let elites kills us and our kids for fun ? When I say something about this to friends and family everybody looks at me like I’m crazy 🫨 am I crazy or are we just acting continuing with our lives and hoping for the worse ?

Healing Through Motherhood

Any other Black moms out there trying to heal while raising their kids?
I have three boys (26F) , and becoming their mom has made me realize how much I want to break generational cycles. I know I’m not my mom, and I’ve grown so much, but I still catch myself reacting in ways I don’t like.
I struggle with anxiety, and sometimes I overreact or yell about things that probably don’t need that kind of response. There are moments when my patience is so thin that instead of letting my boys help me cook or do simple activities together, I get overwhelmed and just tell them to sit down so I can do it myself because it feels faster and easier. Afterward, I feel guilty because that’s not the kind of mom I want to be. I don’t want my home to feel stressful or tense. I want my boys to remember a calm, loving mom who enjoyed being with them, not one who was always overwhelmed.
For those of you who are healing while parenting, how are you navigating it? Have therapy, books, prayer, routines, or anything else helped you become more patient and emotionally regulated? How do you slow yourself down before reacting?

My lil leech 😘😘

Currently have a four month old that cannot stay off of me. But I just wanted to rant my husband said I’m getting lazy which I don’t understand because I’ve been cooking cleaning , going to school, breastfeeding , pumping when I’m at school, taking care of three boys all under 6… but if I go a day without cooking I’m getting lazy and plus it’s been my birthday week!! Honestly he is a good guy but I really don’t think guys really process what they are saying before comes out of their mouth!! I’ve been doing the most and sometimes I do need rest too.. until mom guilt kicks in.. and now wife guilt ??? I’m newly married of 6 months honestly

We’re a hardworking family starting from the bottom and trying to build toward land, homesteading, and possibly a family compound one day. Looking for insight, advice, and real conversations with other families or anyone interested in generational land, self-sufficiency, or intentional community. Would love to connect, learn, and hear how others are making it happen.
