BCA Placement Doubt

[Coming from a Tier-2 ish college] Is it normal for college placements to have a majority of opportunities coming from companies hiring for customer service/customer support or similar associate roles, also sometimes masked with titles like "some rando advisor” and stuff? And I really do mean plain customer support roles. These are not even technical support, and I feel like only one company came for an actual tech support role.

I'm trying to understand if this is normal? Would you recommend taking up these opportunities as a fresher in the current market?

How to look more "happy"/ positive?

I think I've always had a resting sad face or a poker face since I was a kid. Also, because of some experiences during my formative years, I think my thinking became more negative, and it showed on my face.

But even past all that, when I'm happy now for the most part and also get enough sleep, people still COME UP to me and ask me if I'm doing okay or if I have something on my mind because I look sad. I've also lost count of how many people have asked me if I haven't been getting enough sleep and commented, "you look tired".

These comments are what end up making me feel bad, bringing down my mood and making the issue WORSE.

PLEASE HOW DO I FIX THIS?? I have tried having a subtle smile on for or no reason but it naturally dies down if I focus on something else

Is it okay to choose a non-tech role to start a career in this field?

BCA graduate and I desperately need a job. I don't feel confident enough for tech roles just yet (but I do apply). I was wondering if getting into BPO/ voice process jobs would affect my chances at landing an actual tech job in the future?

Has anyone gone down this route?

Should I go for it or only settle for an actual tech job?
