What would you add to a dlc/sequel?

I love Big Walk, and I feel like there's room for even more things that build upon the Big Walk mood. I want to hear ideas that fit the constraints of the game and facilitate more funny adventures and force cooperation and cooperative problem solving.

Here are some of mine:

- Tandem Bike: two seat bicycle that requires careful timing of l-click and r-click to move forward. Handles flat terrain fine, but has difficulty going up hills and will roll out of control down hills. Might make for faster movement, but only if you can work together and also navigate carefully.

- Rivers/lakes: The creek is interesting but I would have loved bigger flowing water. More water that we have to interact with would be nice.

-Paddleboats/canoes: Traverse rivers and lakes with cooperative boats. Paddleboats require both players to paddle to move forward, or just one to turn the boat. Canoes require rowing in rhythm to make progress.

- Mirrors: Lots of potential for mirror/laser pointer puzzles. Using mirrors to see symbols around a corner. Might be difficult to implement since reflections are classically a huge gpu issue.

- Fire/matches/lighter/campfires: Campfires around the map you can light with a box of matches. Torches you can carry with you as a dim light source that burns out after a while. Puzzle that requires you to read in the dark with only a dim torch. Puzzle that you have to kick torches into campfires you can't reach.

I love what Big Walk is and I think it could hold more inside it. What are your thoughts?

What are your favorite lobby settings?

My personal settings:

12 Players (friends say it lags with 24)
Infection
1 Hunter
120 Setup
320 Hunt
20 Sec Taunt

What do other hosts use? I'm interested if other people enjoy Basic or Doubles, or how hunter/hider sided they like their matches. My ideal is for hunters to win with 20 seconds or less left most of the time, with hiders winning outright maybe 20% of the time.

BG1 Companions in 5e Classes (Real)

The other post was either bait or insanity but I can't stop thinking about it.

Ajantis: Oath of Devotion Paladin

Alora: Thief Rogue

Branwen: War Domain Cleric

Coran: Hunter Ranger (give him the Urban Bounty Hunter background to preserve his thief role)

Dynaheir: Evoker Wizard

Edwin: Conjurer Wizard

Eldoth: College of Whispers Bard

Faldorn: Circle of the Land Druid (torn between this and Circle of Spores)

Garrick: College of Lore Bard

Imoen: Arcane Trickster Rogue

Jaheria: Circle of the Moon Druid

Kagain: Battlemaster Fighter (could argue battlerager but it's more niche)

Khalid: Eldritch Knight Fighter (his 15 int, Calimshan heritage, and has long been modded into a fighter/mage. Arcane Archer would also work considering his dex.)

Kivan: Monster Slayer Ranger

Minsc: Custom Ranger (it's Minsc, you basically have to make a custom class for him. No spellcasting, barbarian rage, miniature giant space hamster animal companion.)

Montaron: Assassin Rogue

Quayle: Arcana Domain Cleric

Safana: Swashbuckler Rogue (she actually used to be a pirate!)

Shar-Teel: Champion Fighter (thought about swashbuckler but Safana is so much more obviously a Swashbuckler)

Skie: Inquisitive Rogue (she switches into a Soulknife Rogue in SoD)

Tiax: Trickery Domain Cleric

Viconia: Death Domain Cleric

Xan: Bladesinger Wizard

Xzar: Divine Soul Sorcerer (the non-canon module Heroes of Baldur's Gate reveals Xzar to be a Bhaalspawn. I don't know that I want that to be canon, but I think divine soul would be a fun change for him. Obviously switch his int and cha stats)

Yeslick: War Domain Cleric (I was doing so good making everyone unique but there's not a great way to differentiate Yeslick and Branwen on class other than giving Yeslick a level of fighter.)

Baeloth: Genie Patron Warlock OR Aberrant Mind Sorcerer (making Najim Baeloth's patron would be a fun way to introduce warlock into the remake. It's hard to nail down what bloodline would make the most sense for Baeloth, so I'm throwing Aberrant since there used to be a drow house full of psionics. Idk Baeloth is difficult.)

Dorn: Oathbreaker Paladin

Neera: Wild Magic Sorcerer

Rasaad: Way of the Sun Soul Monk

Ok now I can be at peace.

In a potential BG1+2 remake, what would you want to see explored more?

Putting aside all the ways a remake could go wrong, I've been thinking about some areas of the games that a remake could take the opportunity to really dig into and explore from a lore or emotional standpoint. Here are some examples I can think of:

If you choose to do Kaigan's quest, you find the body of Entar Silvershield's son. Later you can recruit his daughter Skie, but she never comments about her brother's death. I believe the bg1npc mod adds some extra dialogue about this and fleshes out her home life significantly, but in vanilla it's very bare bones. Given what Beamdog contributed to Skie's arc, a remake would be a great opportunity to expand upon Skie Silvershield and give her character depth and realism.

It's implied but not outright stated or explored that the temple of bhaal in siege of dragonspear is the same one that Gorion, Elminster and others raided to rescue Abdel/Charname and Imoen. I would love for a remake to give us a cutscene of the raid to showcase Gorion at his full power.

Finally I would love if the remakes were non-canon to wotc lore to either change up certain story beats or give us full branching paths entirely. I'm thinking specifically of the fact that bg2 kills off Khalid and Dynaheir as a solution to the gameplay issue of having party members that came in twos. A remake will likely use some sort of dragon age/bg3 style campground which would eliminate the issue of inseparable party members. With no gameplay reason for them to die, it would be a huge, welcome surprise that they possibly survive into bg2. There's already plenty of things that can happen in the games that aren't canon to the wotc canon, there's really nothing stopping a remake from getting crazy with possibilities.

Has anyone ever actually PLAYED pvp?

I remember on release they said PVP would be important to D4 and now the extent of pvp is passing through on the way to something else. Sometimes I run around for fun to try and farm for the cosmetics but I get bored and move on. Sometimes while doing that I get stepped on by someone way stronger than me passing through and that's the most interaction I've ever had.

Has anyone had any kind of real experience playing pvp? Did anyone ever truly play it? What are they going to do to these empty pvp zones?
