Hi,
I'm looking for any help with a cycling route from Damascus to Springwater Corridor near SE 82nd. This commute would be normal M-F office hours.
My plan is Foster -> Vogel -> Sunnyside -> 205 multi-use path. I'm not crazy about biking on Foster, especially through the curves. Also not 100% confident on the Sunnyside bike lane as I see distracted drivers leave their lane at 45mph+ daily. I'm up for zig-zaging through neighborhoods and is what I'm hoping somebody has experience with.
I've taken 5 years off from regular cycling, prior to which I cycled far and frequently. I still take the occasional drive, park, and ride 30-50 miles and expect to regain muscle quickly. Normal to steep hills aren't an issue, hitting Mt. Scott right off the bat may be a bit much.
