Final Version, the Night Fury Mk. IV

The final version of the Night Fury is now ready to take you where you need to go.

She comes equipped with, 3 Zenith reactors, 1 Azimuth reactor, and 1 Medusa reactor, so your power needs will be easily met. Also 4 Photon cannon arrays provide a hearty punch, and the 4 Titan engines give her excellent speed and handling in combat situations.

Inside you will find 10 storage units, weapon storage, hazard and health units, teleporter, galactic trade terminal, nutrient processor, antimatter reactor, and a system scanner.

Mounted on the stern of the port side wing pod is a signal booster. There is also a housing on the starboard side for a refiner unit if you wish to install one. Sadly the service bot cannot build one of those in for you.

Idea for us old folks who play

Some of us old people still play, and that little tiny display for the latitude and longitude on the dash of ships is just too small sometimes. Especially when we are playing on a Steamdeck or other hand held.

It would be great if we could get an option to have the coordinates projected onto the window HUD style. Maybe other info too.

The Night Fury Mk. II, new and improved.

Recently I showed you the Night fury, but something about it just didn't work for me. It was good, but not good enough. So after a bit of tweaking with the design and interior, I present the Night Fury Mk. II.

This little boat has all the features the original had, but the amenities on the inside have been rearranged to be a bit more efficient (IMO). In addition to this, the main hull was slightly redesigned to provide a slightly more aggressive look. She also now rides closer to the ground when landed (see pic 4) This allows the landing ramp to be a bit easier to use when on uneven terrain, and puts the signal booster (mounted on the rear of the left wing) easier to access. The green and red running lights are a standard, and follow the same rules our real world aircraft lights use (green on the right, red on the left).

The storage containers are easily accessed and clearly labeled (pic 7). There is weapon storage a hazard protection unit, a health station, and a teleporter built in near the entry hatch (pic 8). Also provided is a galactic trade terminal, nutrient processor, anti-matter reactor, and system scanner (pic 10). There is even seating for a few friends, or a small fireteam (pic 9).

All this with only a total of 111 parts, with only 22 of them being corvette pieces.

The Night Fury Mk. II is available for your use now through the NMS Service Bot App.

Introducing, the Night Fury class!

The Night Fury class is a design I lucked into. I decided to play around with some parts I never use, and got it.

The basic ship was made fully with the in-game tools, and some use of the offset glitch. Then the No Man's Sky - Base and Corvette Building App was used to do final fitment. So the reactors final positions and sizes are non-standard. I also used the Base tool to mount 10 storage containers, a freighter scanner room, nutrient processor, signal booster, antimatter reactor, hazard protection module, health station, base teleport module, trade terminal, multi-tool archive, and a large refiner. It even provided seating for 4 passengers.

This ship is available for you to fly through No Man's App, but I am unsure if the Large Refiner actually made it into the final upload. If someone can confirm either way on the refiner I would greatly appreciate it.

For the love of Atlas Sean remove the red dot.

There is absolutely no reason for a titan worm to have a red dot if it is unscanable. It also make it twice as frustrating trying to fi d that last stupid underground fauna when I keep seeing the dot of the titans.

Come on guys, remove the dot from the worms.

Is anyone else freezing when going into screenshot mode? (Switch 1)

In the last few days I have found myself unable to take any screenshot with the in game screenshot system.

The basic Switch screenshot is working however. But I cannot get any screenshot without the UI visible.

Made with lots of position glitches, but 100% assembled in standard workshop on a Nintendo Switch 1. At part limit of 40 pieces as well.

Just a nice little racer I have been tinkering with, and think I finally got just right. No name yet, but some ideas are percolating. There are 2 Photo Cannon Arrays tucked into the cowlings by the engines.

Here is a boat I've been tinkering with a bit here and there. She is still a WIP, but mostly complete for the exterior. No internal images attached for now, as it is still bare.

She was built in game with lots of glitch use, and then exported to NoMansSkyBaseBuilder ( https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/984 ) for final positioning of various parts.

The interior will be done almost completely in the NoMansSkyBaseBuilder app, and I will share images when it is completed. The interior is 3 Habs and 1 Walkway. Eventually I will have some nice wood paneling around the main dwelling area ( upper deck ), however I will be designing the interior around a crew of ME, but seating for some passengers will be provided in the lower deck.
