It enrages me that some students have to try to learn when 3 months out of the school year, the rooms can get unbearably hot to unhealthy levels. And teachers are expected to teach! My room was 86 degrees all day today and rooms got up to 91! And it's not even June!

I am curious to hear some stories out there. Names of districts if you want to share or you can DM me.

Just like everything else with public education, it just depends on where you live. Some districts have A/C and some do not. Some buildings cannot even handle the electrical demands.

I am planning on starting to put together a plan to bring this to the attention of our reps. Will it help? Who knows. But I'm tired of it.

Funding NEEDS to be allocated to update infrastructures and help pay the bills. They don't even need central air, even just window units.

These cushy superintendents sit in their air-conditioned offices telling teachers what to do.

So I've been on Lamictal since probably 2009. Now 300 mg

And I have adult diagnosed ADHD. And ish is getting harder and harder. I saw about lamictal on another sub and countless posts about memory loss, word recall etc. Did google searches...

Do prescribes really deny this or is it possible she's "never heard that before"?

It sucks cause I'm pretty sure it does help. And if I lower it and it doesn't help and I feel worse I will NOT take a chance of SJS and go back up.

I also am not completely sure that I havd bipolar 2 since there is also the adhd going on and those dual diagnosis are tricky.

Does anyone take it later in the day?

So I am obese and there is a lot of evidence about intermittent fasting eating schedules being more effective for weight loss. It's one thing that I haven't tried.

I also take Protnix (Proton pump inhibitor for GERD) and it is best to take before eating.

I have tried for the last couple days since one day I forgot it and too it at like 7pm! So I did the same for the following day to keep the 24 hour routine.

I had to ask my dr something else this week so would prefer not to reach out if I don't have to.

I think it made me feel weird though. Like light headed kind of.

I've been having bad luck with waxing lately. I go to European Wax Center. Been going for years. Got a decent burn a few months ago. And some sort of skin irritation another time.

Sugar is appealing since there is no burn risk.

Does it hurt more?

What has lasted longer for your between waxes or sugars?
