I found this object around the Rio Grande. It seemed to have glass or something glass-like on top, and a screw-in type thing on the bottom. It reminded me of a GNSS receiver, but it was far too heavy. I moved it and then got kind of spooked and stopped, thus the lack of descriptive detail.

Long shot, but I recently lost my planner/journal. I have no idea where. If you've found it, please DM the name inside and where you found it (so that I know it is mine) and I will tell you some identifying features (so that you know it is mine). Thank you.
