Ummagumma is the fourth album by English rock band Pink Floyd. It is a double album and was released on 7 November 1969 by Harvest Records. The first disc consists of live recordings from concerts at Mothers Club in Birmingham and the College of Commerce in Manchester that contained part of their normal set list of the time, while the second contains solo compositions by each member of the band recorded at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road Studios). The artwork was designed by regular Floyd collaborators Hipgnosis and features a number of pictures of the band combined to give a Droste effect. It was the last album cover to feature the band.

Although the album was well received at the time of release, and was a top five hit in the UK album charts, it has since been looked upon unfavourably by the band, who have expressed negative opinions about it in interviews. Axis: Bold as Love is the second studio album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience. It was first released by Track Records in the United Kingdom on December 1, 1967, only seven months after the release of the group's highly successful debut album, Are You Experienced. In the United States, Reprise Records delayed the release until the following month. The album reached the top ten in the album charts in both countries.

Santana is an American rock band formed in San Francisco, California in 1966 by Mexican-American guitarist Carlos Santana. The band has had various recording and performing line-ups in its history, with Santana being the only consistent member. After signing with Columbia Records, the band's appearance at the Woodstock Festival in 1969 increased their profile and they went on to record the critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums Santana (1969), Abraxas (1970) and Santana III (1971). These were recorded by the group's "classic" line-up, comprising organist and lead vocalist Gregg Rolie, percussionists José "Chepito" Areas and Michael Carabello, drummer Michael Shrieve and bassist David Brown. Turbulence is the third studio album by Yes guitarist Steve Howe, released in 1991 through Relativity Records. It is Howe's first solo release since 1979, with his band including former Yes drummer Bill Bruford and former Ultravox keyboardist Billy Currie. The album is composed of guitar-based instrumentals, showcasing different genres that have influenced Howe. "Sensitive Chaos" contains a melody that would also be used in "I Would Have Waited Forever", the opening track to Yes' 1991 album Union. "The Inner Battle" contains a melody that would also be used in "Silent Talking" off the same Yes album.

Released on August 10, 1970, Weasels Ripped My Flesh was the final album to feature the original line-up of The Mothers Of Invention, whom Frank Zappa had disbanded the previous year. It was compiled by Zappa from recordings made between 1967-69 and painstakingly edited into an original and vital album that showcases what the Mothers were capable of. The title of the album came from the cover story of the September 1956 issue of Man’s Life magazine. The article featured the strapline, “Many claws tore at my skin, putting razor sharp teeth in easy reach of my flesh. The furry animals came from all directions – chewing, gnarling, turning the water red with my blood.” It was sensational stuff and illustrated by an equally out-there cover by Will Husley, featuring a muscle-bound hunk waist-high in water, writhing in agony as he’s set upon by a multitude of weasels. It’s easy to see why it stuck in Zappa’s memory. He showed artist Neon Park the magazine and asked, “What can you do that’s worse than this?” Neon Park delivered a pop art-inspired illustration that was modeled on a Schick electric razor advertisement that appeared in the Saturday Evening Post in 1953, replacing the razor with a weasel dragging its claws across the face of an all-American man. The music contained within is every bit as witty and uncompromising, making it a perfect entry into the imaginative and unhinged world of the Mothers.

A powerful hard rock performance of Atomic Rooster with "I Can't Take No More" from 1972! The song is from the band's early-1970s period, when their sound was heavier and more organ-driven. It features a raw mix of hard rock and blues-influenced vocals, with a strong emphasis on emotional intensity and tension. 🎹🔥

Lyrically, it is about ending a toxic relationship and emotional exhaustion, with the repeated line "I can't take no more" expressing frustration and final separation.

The track is also known for its dark, aggressive atmosphere, typical of Atomic Rooster's early albums like Death Walks Behind You (1970), where Vincent Crane's organ and John Du Cann's guitar defined the band's sound.

Mahogany Rush was a Canadian rock band led by guitarist Frank Marino. Formed in Montreal, Quebec in 1969, the band had its peak of popularity in the 1970s, playing venues as large as California Jam II.

The band is perhaps best known for Marino's soaring lead guitar which bears a strong resemblance to the playing of Jimi Hendrix. Long-term members of the band have included bassist Paul Harwood and drummer Jimmy Ayoub, and Frank's brother Vince on guitar; Frank Marino is the sole continuous member of the band. Real Thing,bonus track Mind Transplant 1974 Alphonse Mouzon album. Tommy Bolin Guitar The album is considered one of Alphonse Mouzon's absolute masterpieces. Instead of just letting the guitar act as a backdrop, Mouzon highlighted Bolin as the primary soloist, creating an intense and aggressive sound. "Fusion Jam": Before recording the album, the two musicians met in the studio to warm up and practice. These raw, unpolished recordings were later released as Fusion Jam, which includes early drafts of "Homeward Strut" and the 19-minute track "The Real Thing". Characteristic style: Their collaboration is characterized by Mouzon's explosive and powerful drumming combined with Bolin's blues-heavy and melodic rock guitar.

''It cannot be considered an official album, it’s more a series of instrumental compositions made by Prince in 1977, when he was 19 years old. Never released in physical format, it precedes his first official album, For You, that will be released one year later. The authenticity of the songs has already been verified by several official magazines and forums.

It is called Loring Park Sessions ’77, a series of free recording sessions in the studio of Loring Park (Minneapolis) owned by Owen Husney, Prince’s first manager. Eight tracks, all instrumental and untitled, realized with the participation of bassist Andre’ Cymone and drummer Bobby Z, who will soon become members of Prince’s first band. The sound is the popular style that was trending at that time, funk & jazz mixed with fantasy and tenacity.
