Best way to regularly transfer €5,000+ from AED to EU bank without losing a fortune on the exchange rates?

Looking for opinions/experiences from people who regularly transfer larger amounts from the UAE to Europe.
For €1,000 or so, I wouldn’t mind a slightly worse exchange rate. But when transferring €5,000+ at a time, the difference starts becoming significant.
UAE bank exchange rates seem pretty bad, so I’ve been looking at exchange houses instead. The rates seem better, but I’m hesitant about sending a larger amount through one. I’ve also seen quite a few reviews mentioning transfers being delayed or taking much longer than expected.
For those who regularly transfer €5k, €10k+ etc. from AED to a EUR account, what do you actually use?
Bank transfer? Exchange house? Wise is not receiving in aed unfortunately.
Main priorities are a good AED/EUR rate, reliability and knowing the money isn’t going to disappear into the void for weeks 😂
Would love recommendations based on actual experience.

Women of Odense: Where do you meet men? Would you find it strange if a man approached you in person? Are Danish women more likely to initiate? Apps? Friends? Work? Sports? Events? Bars? And does being a foreign guy create an additional barrier?

I know this is ridiculous, but my curiosity has taken over. I (F27) have personally been lucky with meeting people on dating apps and have had really good long-term relationships.
But my younger brother (M25) seems completely lost. I understand that as adults, it is difficult to make friends and meet new people, especially when you are not local. But I am wondering if there’s some sort of social/dating culture in Odense that we’re simply not understanding. Where do people in their 20s actually meet new people outside of dating apps?
And women of Odense specifically: how do you generally feel about men approaching you in real life? Is it normal, or would you rather someone didn’t? Are men expected to make the first move, do women approach men, or does everything mostly happen through mutual friends and apps?
Are there certain events, hobbies, bars, social groups, etc. where people actually go with the intention of meeting and talking to new people? Or is Odense just one of those places where people tend to stick to the circles they already have?
We’re originally from Kosovo, so I’m also curious whether being a foreigner changes the dynamic at all. Not necessarily in terms of dating preferences, but also when it comes to breaking into social circles and getting to know locals.
Basically, how does a normal 25-year-old actually build a social/dating life in Odense without relying entirely on Tinder? 😅
Genuinely curious to hear how locals see it, regardless of age. Where do people actually meet, how do you prefer to be approached, and what would you say is the unwritten dating/social etiquette in Odense?

Slavic mother, Scottish-English father, raised in Italian-speaking Switzerland, French passport, now living in Dubai. I’ve spent years in all of these places but don’t fully identify with any. So, where am I actually from?

Hi guys, sorry for the ramble but i (f24) always struggled with this question. It feels insincere to say either country because i feel like i am not 100% from there?! It feels like I am an impostor sometimes. When asked by complete strangers (like uber drivers or salespeople) i often joke and say “global village” (joke about the dubai village establishment with shops from all around the world). But even more often I let the person guess where I am from. And most of the time I get told im from russia, which fair enough can be explained by my looks and accent. But then I listen to these slavic people and my accent is not like that?! I like to think im fairly easy to understand, and my english is similar to many of my international friends? I don’t like being stereotyped as a slavic girl in dubai because that doesn’t really have a good reputation, and I also have had people genuinely asking me for money when I told them im from lugano, switzerland. I speak italian, french and picked up some spanish, turkish, and russian, but not too well. I think in english. I dream in english. But I don’t speak in my father’s accent.

I hope i haven’t offended anyone, I don’t think poorly about either of the countries mentioned, I am just genuinely going through an identity crisis (for the millionth time) and I would like to hear your opinions (especially if you’re someone with similar mixed background). How do you deal with this situation?

I’ve been told I’m from everywhere except my actual country. I’ve lived in 4 different countries over the past 2 years , so I’m curious what my accent sounds like now. Based on my voice alone, can you guess where I’m originally from?

( Reading in this recording )

P.S. appreciate the feedback!

I’m especially curious about the specific features you’re picking up on, like particular words, vowels, consonants, stress patterns, or intonation that make you associate my accent with a certain country or region?

I speak multiple languages, so i wonder if you hear any French or Italian influence, or any influence from the years I lived and studied in London? I’d be interested to know which specific features make you hear those influences rather than just the country you would initially guess.
