Top Thrill 2 + Fireworks

I’ve been going to cedar point literally my whole life, so I really just had to share this experience because having been there so much, I feel like there aren’t too many standout experiences for me anymore.

That being said, my brother and I decided to head to CP tonight literally at like 6 pm because we saw how dead it was. My brother hadn’t been since 2024 and unfortunately couldn’t join the family for pass previews for TT2. I also hadn’t been since 2024 and only rode TT2 once. We were a bit concerned when we saw a decent line with only two trains, it ended up breaking down twice, but we lucked out with back row, and during the fireworks show.

It was legitimately one of the most beautiful sights and experiences of my life. Goddamn I loved my first and only ride so much on TT2, but I was absolutely blown out of the water with this ride. The backwards launch is one of the most diabolical things I’ve ever experienced on a ride. Cresting the spike and being able to see the fireworks in my peripheral vision was just insane. Not to mention the drop off the spike lasts forever omg. The fireworks show was in the grand finale and my god cresting the top of the hill and just seeing all of the colors, rides, literally just so fucking beautiful. Not to mention the reflection on the lake and all of the fireworks being launched around Sandusky + greater area.

Just had to share, but truly one of the most incredible and most memorable rides I’ve had in SO long.

Phone background I made featuring all of my children over the years!

I made this for my mom, as she couldn’t decide which grand-furkid to have as her background. These are all of my kids over the years, the bottom three being my current trio (left->right: Felix, Smoofle, Zippy)

Top row (left->right):
-Trixie (2017-2025)
-Mocha (2019-2020)
-Tofu (2020-2024)

And Honey (2017-2020) was my first ever ferret in the center! Where the obsession and love began🥰💜

Going to try Stardew Expanded for the first time with a friend, other complementary mod recommendations?

Hi! I am trying Stardew Valley Expanded for the first time with a friend. We haven't started quite yet, but I wanted to see if anyone has other recommendations for mods to go along with this or should we just stick to Expanded? QOL, more location/villager expansions, really anything.

I also did have a question about installation, as I have never installed SV mods. Is there a specific mod launcher to use, or is it something you drop files in a certain location?

TIA!

Just finished watching the show for the first time! (2x)

After basically watching the entirety of the show on shorts last year, I freaking am in love with this show. It's hilarious and wholesome. I bit the bullet and finally decided to watch it in February and just finished it for the second time and definitely not about to rewatch for a third. Just wanted to put some of my thoughts/favorite moments/etc:

-Axl ending up with Lexi is just... underwhelming? Idk. It kind of felt forced honestly, I would have much rather seen him eventually end back with Cassidy or even Devin. I don't even know really how to describe my feeling about them, but it just isn't really satisfying. It makes a bit more sense when she is cut off by her parents, but we like barely see the dynamic between them after this happens so idk. I will say it is wholesome that he ends up with someone like his sister, just in the way that it's like he withheld liking someone positive and bubbly like that the entire show.

-Speaking of characters opening up, I love the dynamic between Frankie & Brick the last season. Like when she gets him all of the birthday cakes.

-More on Frankie, I really liked her character other than season 8. She REALLY goes off the wall with how much she hates April. It feels weird that they made her character like basically date Axl all of season 8, like I feel like she put no effort into anyone else that season.

-The way that Mike would open up to Sue also just made my heart melt. Like when he talked to her about his mom dying. Omg. I LOVE the dynamic between Mike and Sue.

-When I cringe at certain things I have a habit of looking away and honestly watching thru the first time there were a few moments I had to look away because it was too much. Like when Frankie followed the freaking case worker into the bathroom. And also when it was just Brad and Sue doing the acapella show. These were such embarrassing moments but rewatching I was freaking laughing my ass off. The ONE moment I could absolutely not look at when rewatching though is the freaking Sue blindfolded scene when she EATS the freaking left out ice cream with the cigarette. Absolutely VILE.

-Rita was SUCH an underrated character, like they brought her around just the right amount. Her ending was definitely a twist, but I think it makes sense at least in my brain. She was so freaking funny literally every episode she appeared.

-Sue was probably my second favorite character, her naivety is hilarious. Like the whole scene where Frankie tells her about french kissing had me rolling.

Ok and don't kill me because I feel like I see people saying stuff everywhere.... but

-Brick was ABSOLUTELY my favorite character. The whispering, whooping, you're gonna love our pizza, omg. Like it literally feels like we are watching a documentary of him, his character is just so perfect and absolutely hilarious.

I think two episodes that could be my favorite after watching for a second time are Look Who's Not Talking or The Scratch.

Thanks for reading! I am looking forward to watching this over and over again. :D
