My family adopted Matilda in the beginning of the summer and she has been a bundle of joy. Super lovable and affectionate once she settled in.

My family brought Matilda to our home a few months ago and she has been doing great. Lately she’s been making here way all around the couch to hang out and see what everyone is doing.

And the dealer won’t give me a straight answer on my request for a tartufo or tobacco interior with carbon buckets. Does anyone know of any Official information on interior options besides the buildable options online?
Been having heavy rain the last two weeks so it’s been sitting in the garage. But was able to take her out this weekend for a spirited drive. She’s about to go under the one for some maintenance and upgrades I’ve been collecting and hoarding the last year.
I’ve been away from home for work this week and I’m missing my girlies Matilda and peanut. Here’s some photos for this morning of them wondering how to get me out of the phone screen
When my wife and I first got peanut about 9 months ago I went a different route and made our own initial cage for peanut and it’s done quite well. But after the months of wear and tear from peanut and cleanings. The homemade wooden cage was due to be replaced .
A few weeks ago on here there was another redditor showcasing the awesomely big 80x70x35 ish bird cage and as much as I planned to go for It. unfortunately where I planned for the cage to be was not large enough of a space to accommodate it.

So far the cage went together pretty straight forward and peanut has been enjoying exploring her new space and all the doors and ways to go in and out of the cage.
We recently welcomed a sulphur lesser cockatoo named Matilda from a home who could no longer care for her. She’s supper sweet and is around 22 years older.
So far she is super sweet with a little bit of sad but overall has been a great welcome to the family. Here’s here with my wife and peanut our B&G macaw.
Peanut is always a fan of baths and just playing in water in general. She saw the sink was empty and clean and couldn’t help but want to hop in for some fun.

Chicken and broccoli with broccoli cheddar soup, my wife and I have been together now 12 years we have a 10 year old and soon to be 8 year old and I’m about 3 weeks post op from a tumor removal and my wife is Adamant we have another baby.
To note we did have our two kids out of wed lock. Since then we have moved three time for my work. She has been a stay at home mom as that was her dream of raising her kids. And I had no complaint with that as I make what I think is very stable income. My wife and I have our own hobbies as do our kids. I like to race cars and have on and off for 20 years. My wife like to craft and thrift which has gotten out of hand and she has a full two garage full of junk.
On top of this it’s been a passive aggressive 6 month talk about bringing another child into this world. I have worries as our youngest has a genetic hormone disorder and though we love our son to death we would hate to have the same hormone disorder passed to another kid.
This is a main part of why I don’t want anymore kids but she doesn’t think that’s enough reason. Her mindset is that another kids is a few extra carrots in the stew pot and we are good. We are not…. We have no baby anything so that would be a complete reset after the whole baby phase.
I also just started another car project a few months back and I feel like this is her way of saying you got a car so I get a kid??? In my head those two items don’t equate.
I’m scared she is going to try and pull an ultimatium on me of the kid or she’s out. If so I’m at the hard fork in the road on what to do.
Just getting the place cleaned up, mowed, weed whacked, and trimmed some bushes and trees. Just getting the garden going decent and working away to make the outdoors be the place to be.
This has been the current work load before I become unable to lift my self up due to surgery. But working with 2x6’s. Poly iso insulation board before being covering with some OBS and paint. I do plan on having electrical done afterwards with conduit through out.
Anyone else go thru great lengths to beat the summer heat? South Texas ain’t no joke when it comes to heat
Just picked up this 08 Subaru Outback xt. It’s a salvage flood car but runs and drives and looks like it’s overall very clean.
What usual outback issues I should look for that may not arise in the Impreza side of the family?
