Closest to Target Time yet.

I was at my local convention this past weekend, and entered the speed build contest at the "Gunpla Hangar" (a conference room in the hotel attached to the convention center with tables and lights set up for gunpla building). They do this using 30 ML kits they provide. I built the Tecprot here, and managed to get the entire body together within the 30 minute timer. The only thing I was missing was the weapon and the shield.

Interesting, and not helpful for this, was that the tecprot's pieces were largely spread across two sets of runners (A1, A2, C1, C2), so I ended up doing a fairly large amount of picking up runners and putting them back down, which likely slowed me down. Otherwise, I have a lot of cleanup to do in him, and probably in need of paint, since I know I have some stress marks on him.

How does everyone else do at the "30 minute timer" for building these guys? This is my farthest kit, last time I got arms and most of one leg on a Verdenova, and yhe year before I only got upper body finished on an Alto flight type.

Hi r/Mecha

I recently bought the Mecha Mania bundle on Humble, but already owned a copy of M.A.S.S. Builder, so I have a spare Steam code available if anyone is interested. I wanted to make sure it got to someone who would appreciate it. Code is gone, so now just a MASS Builder thread.

If anyone doesn't know, M.A.S.S. Builder is a third-person arena battler where you customize and build your own mecha, gathering resources to tune your stats to be able to work through a pretty good story. It is heavily inspired by Armored Core, but has a very robust customization system.

So aside, from the Code, I guess this is just a general thread about the game?
