Any NC State Students Interested in Being a Reading Buddy?

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for an NC State student who enjoys reading and working with kids.
My son will be in 4th grade this fall, and I’m hoping to find someone who can spend about an hour with him once or twice a week reading chapter books together.
I’m not looking for formal tutoring. I’d just love for him to read with someone, talk about the story, ask and answer questions, and help him write a short summary afterward. If you enjoy books and like working with kids, I think you’d be a great fit.
We’re located in West Cary, so this would be in person. This is a paid position, and the rate is flexible.
If you’re interested or have any questions, feel free to send me a message. Thanks!

Looking for a UNC Student

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a UNC student who might be interested in working with my son, who will be in 4th grade this fall.
We live in West Cary and are looking for someone to come to our home once or twice a week for about an hour.

The main focus would be reading chapter books together, discussing the story, helping him write short summaries, and giving him feedback on grammar and writing. I’d also like him to have conversations about the books he reads to build his comprehension and communication skills.
No formal tutoring experience is required—just someone who enjoys reading and working with kids.

This is a paid position, and the rate is flexible.
If you’re interested or know someone who might be a good fit, please send me a message. Thanks!

Looking for a College Student Reading Buddy for a Rising 4th Grader (West Cary)

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a college student to work with my son, who will be in 4th grade this fall.

I’m not looking for a certified teacher or an experienced tutor. I’m hoping to find someone who enjoys reading, is patient with kids, and can help build his confidence.
The main focus would be reading chapter books together, talking about the story, helping him write short summaries, and correcting grammar and sentence structure when needed. I’d also like him to have conversations about the books he reads to strengthen his comprehension and communication skills.

We’re located in West Cary and are looking for someone who can come to our home once or twice a week for about an hour. Pay is flexible based on experience.
If you’re interested or know someone who might be a good fit, please send me a message.

Thank you!
