iPhone Shortcuts + NFC?

I know that when I link the first song of an album on Spotify in an iPhone Shortcut, it automatically starts playing the whole album. Does Navidrome do anything like that? The end goal is to tap my iPhone to an NFC tag, either it opens Safari and starts playing the selected album through Navidrome or a supporting Navidrome player app. As of right now, I only got Navidrome to open automatically after tapping an NFC tag, but I still need to tap my screen once to start playing the album.

Navidrome newbie

Hello,
It’s my first day learning Navidrome.
I’m trying to figure out why some albums are showing multiple copies when I want there to be only one album with all artists in it shown. I made Album Artwork the same one group (Disneymania 5 in this case) but this still keeps happening.

Any GamePass games unplayable without Series X?

Apologies if this has already been asked, I cannot find the answer.

I own a gaming PC, One X, and Backbone One controller. As of July 2026, are there any games that I cannot stream or require a Series X and are deemed unplayable to either stream or play natively on any of those other devices that I already own?

Thank you for your help!

Is it too late?

Hello everyone,

This Xbox was donated from an old friend, clock capacitor must’ve blown over 15 years ago. My soldering skills are novice but I have a passion for repairing and preserving tech. When plugged in, it boots for a second, shuts off, then reboots with blinking orange light and the fan just constantly running, no video signal/nothing seen on the TV. The Samsung DVD drive was tested in working Xbox and functions perfectly, manufacturing date 2004-01-04. I just started doing research online but haven’t gone in depth yet, thought I’d start with the pros in this group. With desoldering the bad capacitor and maybe soldering a couple jumper points with isopropyl alcohol clean up, do you think this Xbox can be saved? Thank you for any and all assistance.

CRT in dead iMac G3 shell

Hello all,

I’m a newbie hobbyist 90’s baby wanting to play my old N64 games on an authentic CRT TV. I have this Memorex Model No MT1134 (I think it’s a 13” tv) and I want to know if I can take the dead CRT out of the iMac to put the good memorex crt in the G3 shell to make it look cool on my dresser next to my 90’s game consoles. For context, I got this iMac for 20 bucks because it doesn’t have any of the motherboards or any circuitry inside, all is left are the speakers and the CRT (not even the CRT’s motherboard or any wires). I would replace the Disc slot with new buttons that would replace the power button, vol up, down and ch up and down on the memorex crt (I’m sure it’s just two wires to solder per button which I can handle with my general soldering skills). But u just wanted to know if anyone else has ever attempted something like this? I know I could just leave the memorex on my dresser, but it doesn’t look as cool aesthetically as the iMac G3 shell. I’m not looking to sink more than 100 bucks into this project but it would be cool to reuse the iMac speakers if it’s easy to hook up. I understand the G3 was a 15 inch screen, I’m ok with the memorex crt not taking up all the screen area. If you think a little wood or some kind of 3d printed plastic could fill the open area, I’ll try to do that. Thanks for your thoughts/help!
