Rolled in for some chow, pets, and sleep...so predictable
When littermates are of a mind, and not squabbling over house alpha status
My 18yr demanding pets his way.
Raining outside today, so getting a bit more time with this almost family little monster. He actually thought about going home, but the lightning, thunder and rain convinced him that an overnighter here would be the better option. I call his primary family to clue them in, so all is well.
Still a 19lb belly warmer...whether you need it or not
Then this waterhead showed up, and put a real damper on that plan. Sad thing is, he is a part time crew member. He just pops in and does it his way.
Clutch cable broke...bike sat up for 6 months. Replaced cable, but clutch would not disengage. Thought plate stuck together, so removed cover and all plates. All plates and springs within spec. Pull rod and bearing looks ok, basket splints not grooved, actuator arm teeth look good. Aligned pressure plate dimple with basket mark. Tourqued springs to spec. Installed cover with pullrod teeth facing rear. Torqued. Arrow on cover and lever arm dimple aligned when clutch resting in engaged position. Can move lever arm with thumb, feeling only return spring pressure, do not feel pressure plate spring tension. Have taken cover off and reinstalled 4 times, with same result...no tension, and no feel at clutch lever. Help
Thought they would kill each other before now, but they made it. It has been quite a ride with these two.
