Follow up, I'm getting suicidal tendencies

I have linked my original post

I woke up a few days ago walked into the kitchen and was going to pick up the knife, I dont know what came over me but i don't want to leave this world like that, thankfully i didn't try to harm myself but the thought was there, is this normal? To have these thoughts but not following through?

Hello seniors, I am considering Btech in Ece in IIIT Jabalpur, How is it?

So a few relevant Things

I really liked IIIT jabalpur because it was the best college i could find with decent placement packages if there is a better college that you think i should look into please do tell me, i am mostly interested in CSE and ECE.

So how is IIIT jabalpur? How is the infra, faculty and hostels, can i buy my own cooler if there are jo AC dorms? How is the ragging situation? Please if you have any info do tell me, and i request you to upvote and comment so that this post spreads

Hello people, I'm depressed(i think). Please read before judging

Why i think i am depressed? I scored a good percentile in JEE in my drop year, my parents were happy, everyone was praising me but i felt no joy for it.

I was the one that wanted to do engineering it was my own descision and taking a drop was my own descision as well, but when my efforts amounted to something i didn't feel joy or accomplished at all, i felt i was a fraud, i didn't feel like i deserved that, i have seen people around me put so much effort while i just half assed it throughout my prep.

I don't say this to brag but all my life people have called me gifted, i dont believe them, but the expectations were still there and still are.

there were two reasons for my drop year, my aunt passed away right before my JEE exam in 12th, the person that rooted for me so much, and partly because i f*ck*d up my prep, so i took a drop to maybe have a fighting chance, and also maybe because my cousin soared in neet and i am genuinly happy for him but it stung a bit.

the gifted tag really is a burden, i believe i didn't live upto that tag even in my drop year, i feel like sh*t, I've given so much for this exam, i gained weight, i didn't focus on things that should have matter, i dont know what to do, i am just rambling here

I dont want to feel like this, but i also dont know how to stop, i feel like I've lost my love for the field somewhere along the journey of acquiring it.

Also this is separate but i didn't cry at my aunt's death, i haven't as of now, she was ill for 2 months so maybe i was prepared for it or maybe i had to stay strong for my mother that's why, but sometimes it makes me think theast there's something wrong with me, that I'm not normal.
