so for some context Im applying to caf and will be going soon this year, I need physics 11 credit as a uni program I want to do after service requires it. I am taking a physics course at this time but I need my grade to be higher. since I'm not getting the grade I want for physics 11 I plan on doing it during my caf service. I may not have the most time but I am hoping there maybe some online courses you may suggest that can let be be very flexible within a tight schedule.

does anyone know what's a good program to sign up for physics 11 credit? need it to go to a bcit program im currently looking to do.

currently looking at sides and ebus as some people recommend it. but would like to know more about these programs or any other ones you might recommend.

has anyone done nvol for physics 11 credit? asking as im planning to take it this September. somethings I want to know is difficulty, how helpful the instructors are, the % for homework, labs, tests, & final exams, and any prep I can do before signing up.

sorry if the post isn't detailed enough, just been awhile since taking a course involving math that I am a bit worried, as im not great with it especially word problems.

this is kinda an odd and very specific question to be asking at this time but can't really get this question out of my head. so I want to get credit for physics 11 in BC as I want to go to bcit in the future (born/raised in BC). only problem is that I didn't do Physics 11 when I attended secondary school. and since I applied at caf navy full time is it even possible especially if I may be stationed In Halifax?

anyone reading this hope you had a good Canada Day yesterday, anyways I applied as a Marine Systems Mechanical Technician back in late April this year, although my application is only at 50% as of writing I am curious to know what life is like as a mar tech.

stuff like daily tasks, how strong you have to lift, living conditions, life overall, etc. I heard that deployment is long (potentially 6 months and above) but that fine with me, also very curious to know what it is like in Halifax, as that is where I chose to be stationed. ( wouldn't also mind hearing about Victoria either)

wanting to know how good the boots are at bmq. when measuring your size do they also take into account if someones feet are arched or not? mostly asking as I have flat feet and often replace insoles with ones with arches so I don't sprain my ankles. should I bring my own insoles or even buy my own boots

curious to know how accurate it is as I recently just started doing daily runs. using strava to make sure im able to do 5km in at least 30 minutes. wondering if anyone knows how accurate it is while I use an I phone and have in my hand

I have my medical next week and my interview after, the application is going faster then I though but im worried about the security and background checks portion as that seems to take long for others. im also curious to know about the rest of the files (5-8) and if there is any significant that will occur

does anyone know if they will recontact the references with another questionnaire for them? asking because 2 out of my 3 references got the email in their junk mail and didn't know for a while. trying to avoid that mistake again and let them know ahead of time if there is one. same goes for the professional background check portion, will they contact my previous supervisor?

want to ask a few question, sorry if some of these questions may seem repetitive/stupid)

1. so from what I understand after BMQ you are sent to your next base for your specific trades training or having to be placed on a Posted Attached Training platoon. I'm curious to know if I should bring my MacBook along as I use it for studying/work. I understand during BMQ I probably wouldn't see it at all. mostly asking because I have my notes for 'marine mechanical technician" from when I was at bcit.

2. during BMQ what do you specifically study in classes? I assume weapons safety, first aid and things along that line but Im curious to know what else there maybe and if I should prep for and what to watch/research

3. how many locks do in need to bring? is it ok to bring a mix of locks that requires keys (all the locks I have have different keys) and 4 digit combination locks?

4. I wear glasses and only have 1 pair, I'm really asking this question because I often don't wear them unless I'm using my computer or reading books. any time im outside or doing basic physical activity I never have worn them.

5. At BMQ do they have back foam rollers or anything of the sort
