Pixel 11 Pro for the Low!

So excited. Typing on my Pixel 7 Pro that I didn't trade in; it's good to have a backup. Google Fi hooked it up with a $550 discount! I'm a tiny bit annoyed at the Google store's "backlog" so my Mous case (ordered 8/14) wasn't expected to arrive until the 24th! Went directly to Mous and might have it by Friday. I guess my 11 Pro is gonna be a dope, desk decoration until then! 🫠

Wait on the Jellyfish?

I'm a sneakerhead. That said, I don't own many Adidas. I have the Rivalry Low x UnheardOf Grandma's Couch. Super dope shoe. The Jellyfish in this colorway would be a great addition. These are going for $267 before fees ($313 after) on StockX. I suspect with how bad resell has been these might turn out to be like the AMM Jordan IV's or the New Balance 992 Tiger Eye both right around $100 below retail. Should I wait it out or buy now? Thanks! ✌🏾

Nike SB Comfort

I'm curious if I'm doing something wrong. I recently picked up the Nike SB Dunk Bluetile and love them! Apologies that I'm not a skater just really appreciate the stellar storytelling that only comes in an SB. Therefore, I don't need the board-feel. I bought all-day Move insoles, and it feels like mild rug burn on the forefoot after a while. It might be the combination of the padded upper and very cushioned insoles taking up a lot of space that was there with the stock insoles. Edit: I did size up in these from my usual Jordan TTS. Any ideas? 🙏🏾

Back into SB's - Bluetiles! "Monarchs"

Back to SB's!

My first love was definitely Jordans. But when I bought the Fly Streetwear collab, I was hooked. There's nothing like the storytelling on a Nike SB Dunk! I had to replace my FS (sold) but didn't know with what just yet. I got really excited for the story and color blocking on the Bluetiles and despite the resell I went ahead and copped. $70 above retail isn't ideal but it's not terrible. Plus the hits of orange match an ACG shirt my wife got me for father's day. She hates SBs apparently but I'll pair it with her shirt to change her mind. What do folks think about the pair? Ok in the rain? I wasn't expecting the suede. Thx! ✌🏾

Thanks for the help on some technical runners!

My physical therapist gave me a few things that I need for my gait and a quick Google Gemini prompt recommended the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 and others. I was concerned about the arch rash I've heard about but my running store mentioned receiving no complaints and they felt good on the treadmill in-store. These are also their 2nd or 3rd best sellers. I've watched so many YouTube reviews that I feel like a board certified podiatrist at this point. I haven't run in them yet. (No, technical running shoes are not for "running" to the coffee shop or the grocery.) But as a nice bonus this is the first time I bought running shoes partly for the colorway that I'm really excited to wear instead of just dutifully running them into the ground. Thanks! ✌🏾

Did I bake in the dirt?

Maybe two years ago, I got a really great deal on the Nimbus Cloud 991v2 $147 when retail was $250. Phenomenal comfort and I like the snug fit since I don't have wide feet. I'm worried that they're a beige now instead of a white suede. I think I applied Crep Protect to protect against the rain without following the directions and doing a quick clean first. I've already gotten them professionally cleaned once and I'm curious to know if I sealed in a layer of dirt. They still look good though! Thanks! 👍🏾

Best Stability Runner

I think I've seen enough reviews on YouTube to qualify me for podiatry. I'm stuck between the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 and the Asics Gel Kayano 32. The former being more firm and I think I've liked that before when I ran in the New Balance 880. I'll be retiring my New Balance Rebelv4 (probably too much cushion for me) I overpronate, have a low arch, and weigh about 250lbs. I will be trying them on in-store (hopefully) on Monday. I'm leaning Brooks because of the stability and that silver pair is dope! Would love some help. I'm chill. I run usually 3-6 miles with one marathon under my belt.
