Recently bought a Bose QC Ultra (gen 1) earbuds from a website called techinthebasket. Wasn’t sure about the site in the beginning to be honest.

Reviews were mixed so I paid via Paypal for protection. Headphones came and app recognized it as it should but left earbud had a crackling noise when nothing was played.

Went on to Bose website and it said warranty expired Jan 26.

But after filling the product support form, it automatically gave me an option of free 2nd gen replacement!

Just purchased a B&W PS7 S2 for £125 (certified refurb with 1 year warranty)

Having a bit of a buyers remorse.

Could have purchased Bose QC SE/SC for the same price or XM5’s for £150 (not keen on Sony’s)

I’ve read on a post that after a firmware update there wasn’t much difference between the S2 and S2e’s.

Is there anyone still using the S2 that can chime in if they hold up well and have similar ANC to S2e’s?

I tried the Bose QC Ultra 2’s and loved it but too pricey for my liking.

I can get the below headphones for a similar price (£150~). Mainly certified refurb or sealed box deals but having hard time deciding.

-B&W Px7 S2
-Sony XM5
-JBL Live 780 (new)
-Cambridge Audio P100

I value ANC/call quality and overall build quality prefer them to last me longish time. Not big fan of plastic Sony’s

Recently been looking at headphones and I come across this design from Denon 9-10 years ago.

Is there anything on the current market that is similar in style and quality?

Compactness of the whole design drawn me into it.

I understand everyone shits on SpaceX valuation etc but who else can use the same rocket 29 times?

And ASTS can now stack 8 satellites so 6 more launches = 50 reached.

I’ve been looking at second hand P2’s and recently heard about this propulsion system warning which may put the car in limp mode.

Apparently in the UK this is not covered under warranty and chatgpt suggest this issue was solved on mid year 2022 and 2023 cars. FWD models only not the RWD ones.

Has anyone had this issue on a 2023 FWD?

How expensive of a job is it without warranty?
