ACOWR Question

Am I crazy...

I noticed most depictions of the infamous Nesta pointing at the King of Hybern scene is depicted with an index finger while she is submerged in the cauldron.

Why did I imagine this as she was being dragged away the cauldron?

Am I crazy and am forgetting specific words or did everyone just decide she was in there?

Controversial Opinion?

There's reason to debate the authenticity of Hunts and Bryce relationship. I remember thinking, "can you just decide to be mates and it happens?" while reading the series.

The ridiculous decline of their romance, and of Bryces character, makes me so upset. It was this comment on another post that really sparked the ideas of the possibility that: they might not be mates.

If that is the case, my unpopular opinion is that I'd love to read more form Hunts POV and that he finds his kind of love. The lay in bed from sweaty sex and sat pizza kind of love. Drink beers with match hats while watch sunball kind of love.

Bryce has turned into an emotionally unavailable, private/secretive, and avoidant person. I think she has treated Hunt really poorly lately and it breaks my heart since his entire POV is about how much he loves her and is willing to do the prince thing and the rebel thing and whole thing for her.

She is pushing him far enough away that he finds himself resenting her and I think it's unbearably sad.

They have a chance of beautiful chemistry and maybe they do work it out, maybe it is a real bonding mate. But if it isn't, and her persona stays like this, I hope he finds his true mate. I want that story. 🥺 🪽 🤍

I'm late to the party, but...

I'm really behind on reading books when they are new but maybe I'm not alone. I've read ACOTR series and just finished the Crescent City trilogy. I have not read TOG!!!

I have tons of opinions I could babble on about, but I want this post to focus solely on the fact that >!Bryce gave Nesta the starsword at the end of CC3!<. I was wondering what you thought about this?

The magical special princess with all the power and all the intelligence to be 3 steps ahead (and all the ego to not mention any plans to anyone, not even her husband and MATE - another post, for another day) suddenly gifts a sword that is only usable by her to the original fae world? No one questions it?

Do we already know the answer to this? I'm late to the party.

Bryce doesn't want the pressure of any of this, so she's giving it away. But that means SJM has to have a plan for it. Heres my theory: >!Bryce is a descendant of Theia, and Rhysand (💜) is a descendant of Silene, which means they are cousins(?) or something. !<

>!They both have to have a link to the same magic. So maybe Rhysand can weild it, maybe.... Or, maybe Nyx will weild this sword one day?!<

Are there any better or more solid theories about this?
