Just wanted to share something my wife and I have been working on for months na. 😊

We started a small business called Banaña, where we make frozen bananas dipped in different coatings and toppings. We wanted to create something that's fun to eat, affordable, and a little different from the usual desserts.

After months of experimenting (and eating way too many bananas 😅), from 6 flavors, we now have 8:

If you're around Bulacan and looking for something cold to snack on this summer (or honestly kahit maulan 😄), we'd really appreciate it if you'd give us a try.

We don't have a physical store yet kaya puro online orders lang po muna kami. Delivery is via lalamove or grab.

We're still a growing small business, so every order really helps us keep going.

Never in our wildest dreams na lumabas sa TV.

Nag umpisa kami mag business in the hopes na of course kumita at para meron din akong pagkakitaan after ko ma float sa company kung saan ako nag wo work before. Also, para hindi naman mahirapan si misis na siya lang nagbabayad ng bills and gastusin dito sa bahay. Pero hindi pala madali ang lahat.

First few weeks ng Feb this year, mataas ang benta kaya masaya kami and our hopes were high. Sabi namin okay yung naging decision nga naming mag business. Then the reality hit us kasi pa-decline na yung sales namin.

We noticed na kaya pala malaki ang benta dahil majority ng mga bumili sa amin, mga kamag-anak namin and friends. Swerte lang din kami na we're surrounded by them kasi kadalasan kapag may business ka, bungad sa'yo eh "wala nang free taste diyan" or "Libre naman oh." Tatawag pa ng "kahit isa lang."

And yet we kept pushing forward. Inimprove namin yung ingredients, we tried different tactics basta lang makilala si Banaña. We kept telling ourselves na "Okay lang kung wala pa masyadong bibili. Importante alam nilang may Banaña or nagtitinda ng frozen bananas."

Eventually, nakakuha din kami ng mga customers na nag avail ng Grazing Table services namin. Hanggang sa may nag message na sa amin na she's a researcher from GMA7 and they would like to feature our business. Akala pa namin nung una scam lang. Pero after checking the profile, legit naman 😂. Na-feature din kami sa TV5, 2 weeks after ng pagkaka feature namin sa GMA. Nagkaroon din kami ng resellers kaya grateful po kami.

Sa mga nagbabalak din po na mag business, wag po kayong panghinaan ng loob at umpisahan niyo na. Mapalad lang din kami sa isa't isa ng asawa ko dahil pareho kaming nagtutulungan at naghihilaan pataas.

Malayo pa kami sa end game pero for us na lumabas dito sa TV, milestone na sa amin 'to 😊
