I've been tracking dice rolls in my journal and recently asked myself "why?"

I'm unlikely to ever need the numbers. When have you ever asked "What did I roll 3 sessions ago?"

I primarily play Ironsworn family games so "Strong Hit - Weak Hit - Miss" is usually sufficient.

I've been using Lonelog so I think to a degree I only do it because it's in the system.

I'm thinking it might be more useful for more "crunchy" games.

To people who do track that in their journals and records, is there a benefit? Do you find it useful to write all the numbers down?

I recently had the pleasure of playing Daggerheart and would love to run a game at some point.

I did find the initiative a bit too loose for my tastes. I've used popcorn initiative in the past with Fate and found it quite effective.

Popcorn initiative, for those who don't know, means that each person chooses who goes next after their turn.

Has anyone else used this method with Daggerheart, and if so, what was their experience?

Seriously. He could've banged Ro and saved Bajor in one fell swoop.

I know he's all "Oh we don't think about money anymore. We work to better ourselves."

Well how can you better yourself when you can't afford to "meet the Prophets" as they call it on Bajor.

I was messing around on the slop machine to make music (even _more_ soulless crap than images if possible)

One thing I find odd is that while I can use "Thomas Kincaid transformers" and get an image that rips off the artist. But if I put "Taylor Swift happy birthday" I am informed that I can't use that artist's voice.

So stealing art styles is fine, I can even use their faces, but not their voices?

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I can't just steal an artist's voice, I just wish the same rule was applied across the board.

I was playing a Night Witches hack of BSG who was a pilot on a suicide mission.
