hi everyone i had one syringe lip and i regret it. i’ve always had plump lips (small mouth) and wide corners when i smiled
i got the filler a total of 3 months ago

-my first dissolve session was a month after

during this session she put a little in the bottom lip and focused on the vermillion boarder

-my second one was month after

this one she fully dissolved them idk if she used a full vial or a little less bc the first one

-my third session was 2 weeks after because they were way bigger
she micro dissolved them and said she was too scared to dissolve my own HA, also she was scared to dissolve my cupids bow

now i want another micro dissolve session, they look way bigger and the corners don’t extend as much when i smiled, and wanna know if anyone has similar stories? i can also dm pics

does anyone know if we get double pay for the 4th? does it vary by location or did they stop doing that?

anyone who got masseter botox, and didn’t like the effect, how long did it take your face to go back to its original shape?

Hi, idk if there is any young girls in this forum, i was never on reddit before my situation got bad but i think no one looks out for these young girls and i will.

i’m 19, the only filler i ever had done was 1 syringe lip that i didnt need. i got it dissolved not even 2 months later. it’s taken 3 dissolving sessions and it’s still not fully out my lips.

filler is SUCH a scary risk. i always thought even the concept of filler was nuts till i seen tiktoks that were facial balancing. i wanted it more than anything. i didn’t even fully understand what filler was.

i’m glad i only got my lips done, even tho i still regret it becuase no i don’t think my lips went back to normal. filler migrates, and that’s not even the worst part.

this forum includes ppl who have been permanently changed from dissolver. it’s seriously so scary and no, medspas will not disclose that with u.

your first question should never be “do lip fillers hurt” your first question should be “what is so bad about my lips to the point where id alter my face in a risky way”
and that can go for fillers anywhere, not just lips.

and please stop thinking that thin lips are bad. when you’re youthful they’re not bad. when you’re older they’re normal. in fact, i found out after i got them done that lip fillers were also meant for aging just like any other filler, and society pushed unrealistic proportions onto young girls.

my experience wasn’t exactly horrible. my lips were done pretty nicely, not a sketchy place. but that doesn’t mean i don’t regret it. you live on a floating rock and if ur worried about thin lips please go get a hobby.

it’s been 10 weeks since i got 20 units on each side
it took everything from me, including my will to live.
i used to have round/square chubby cheeks

not to mention it made me look like a blobfish

if someone who was ever in the same situation as me would like share how they recovered, pls lmk.

edit: a lot of the comments under this gave me hope that yes my face will be normal again. it’s just confusing seeing the stories of people never turning back to normal after one time. also yall are saying it’s not that serious. this is my entire facial structure impacted by this. it’s more than serious

this is my second post on here, but i went to a screwed up injector who tried to sell me things i didn’t really want and agreed.

i wanted 0.5 ml lip filler, i have naturally plump lips, small mouth but the cutest shape.
she agreed at my consultation, but weeks later during my appointment she was done filling and i noticed they looked huge. i asked her is this 0.5? she said not it’s 1!

i was in distress the whole drive home and immediately looking at the dissolving process. 1 month after that i get the border and a little bit of the bottom dissolved, and 2 weeks after i go back to have them fully dissolved.

its been a week yet my lips are not back to normal. the top lips are still a little more firm, and the bottom just looks bigger than before. also my upper lip is so puffy (not like that before filler) not only that but they are constantly red and my real lips are pink.

also in hot spaces like outside or a hot car i notice there def is still filler becuase the way the colors look and the swelling it brings.

i asked her if she can take a look at what’s going on and she said she’s scared to dissolve more in case my own HA gets dissolved. she asked me to send her pictures. i send them and she never responded.

Hi, i’m 19 and 2 months ago i was injected 20 units per side masseter botox. by the end of june 2026 will be 3 months. i don’t feel like i needed it, but she was saying it could benefit me.

before i had a beautiful round and square angular jawline, with very chubby cheeks and looked young.

now i look gaunt, my face is too skinny, my cheeks look more flat and i look 20 years older.

when will this nightmare be over? also what factors help such as chewing gum?
she also ghosted me so i guess she knows she did wrong but i just want my face to go back to normal, im too young to deal with this :(

Hi, i’m 19 and i stupidly was offered masseter botox because i was insecure about my jawline. Looking back my jawline was square, and i had a full chubby round face that was perfect.

I impulsively agreed and had 20 units each side, (which was not even the right amount since im asymmetrical) exactly 2 months ago.

my face started to look puffier 1 month in, and about half a month ago i started noticing it slimming, not only that but hollowed cheeks (i’m young and have always had chubby cheeks) and a peanut shape. Not only that but my face looks longer due to the slimming. I feel like i aged 20 years.

Does anyone know what to do from here? i’ve been trying to chew gum so it no longer slims but im extremely worried and would love some advice.
