Weighted grades for physics

Just found out that one of my physics classes is going to become a college in high school class. The college wants me to submit my syllabus. I have always just used total points but they are seeming to want me to use weights. I have been wanting to try it out for awhile but just haven’t yet. I have no district requirements. Any opinions on the weights? Right now I’m leaning on 40% tests, 30% labs, 20% quizzes, 10% homework. Also considering moving tests to 50% and quizzes to 10%.

Take medication today or wait

I know the answer will be to wait to hear back from my GI but figured I would see if anyone else has experience. I was ordered Tremfya. First time doing biologics. My GI wanted me to get a Hep B vaccine. My PCP can’t get me in for another week. Am I able to start today or should I wait for the vaccine? Tried calling my GI all week with no answer. Currently on prednisone, starting to taper due to a flare and mesalamine failing.

Should I be starting biological?

Have been diagnosed for around 2 years now. Have had symptoms for probably 8. Started mesalamine and lasted a year. Started having a flare, did a round of prednisone, and have been good for about a year again. Just started a flare again a month or two ago. Calprotectin hit the highest I’ve seen around 1400. I’m more curious because my symptoms have never been bad. At most, three bowel movements a day but this is rare. Typically streaks of blood but not too much except for a few times. My dr is looking at biologics now but I don’t know if my symptoms aren’t that bad compared to others? I’m guessing they are going to call tomorrow because I just saw today that they ordered Tremfya. Curious what other think.

Crackpot theory

Everyday in July tdawg has posted on twitter asking where the ports are somewhere between 9:30-10:30 am est. Yesterday he posted he had big news about CoD. It’s now almost 10:30 with no tweet. Theory is announced today, coming out tomorrow.

Who knows though, probably just clickbait

What should I print for high school open house?

I received a grant the last school year and ordered a few 3d printers. I was already fairly experienced on my own. My admin has asked me to show off the printers and my classes during an open house this summer. I already have a few projects that students have previously designed. I wanted to have a printer actually printing something. Any suggestions or models to print? It’s a P2S so makerworld would be great but anything is fine.

Replacing outdoor spigot

Outdoor spigot froze and broke open the other day. Bought a new one but it is still leaking at the female connector. Going to replace with a new one. Should I replace with a pvc connector like I have now or something like this that is stainless steel?

The controller appears to be brand new. Question though, the arrows on the d pad are slightly raised. My launch controller is completely smooth. Was there a change at some point?

Upgraded from 400 mbps to 1 gig. Currently have my own modem (Surfboard SB8200). I ordered to have a xfinity modem sent to me. My modem and router should support 1 gig. It’s been two days now and no speed increase. Is it because I don’t have the new modem yet?

Currently have a promo running out in July. On my account, I saw that I have the option for 1 gig $65 a month. Under the details, it says that I can get additional discounts for having mobile? I have two premium lines. Any options?
