Panasonic toughbook as infotainment?

For those who do want some sort of tablet display, I was considering an old Panasonic toughbook. It should be capable of surviving and functioning in the hottest and coldest conditions and older used ones aren't super expensive (well under $500). I'm assuming there won't be a windows version of the Slate app, but there are emulators to run android on windows. Had anyone else considered this or something similar? Any reason to avoid them?

Rescued and raised a baby deer mouse. Now what?

I found an abandoned baby deer mouse and raised it for the last couple of weeks. He can now take care of himself as far as eating and drinking, but I'm assuming he wouldn't survive in the wild. I would be willing to keep him, but after our dog saw him, nothing else exists in the house from the dogs perspective. He stares and whines at the terrarium, or at the door to that room when it is closed, or at the stairs when block them off.

Guillermo, the mouse, is pretty personable, which I know can change as they grow up. He associates the human hand with food, so he comes right up and walks around on my hands, doesn't try to escape at all yet. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm in the Chicago area and would be willing to give him away to anyone willing to care for him.

Advice and recommendations for a DIY solar powered ev charging setup.

I'm in the process of designing a home ev charging setup and am looking for any advice or recommendations anyone can offer.

Currently my plan is to have 3-6 470W panels (Canadian Solar TOPHiKu6 All- Black) ground mounted in my back yard. I'm supposedly being offered a good deal on these at $110USD a piece, I'm willing to hear opinions on that. These will be wired to a bluetti solarx 4k charge controller, into an apex 300, eventually (maybe necessarily) 2 linked via hub a1.

From here I have some questions. I will be adding additional battery storage in the future, but at first, I won't have enough battery storage to fulfill my charging needs (about 20kwh daily max). Also, I have a Grizzl-E charger which I can set low enough that the power draw is EXACTLY the max output of the Apex 300 (3840kw).

The Nema 14-50R plugs aren't supposed to be repeatedly plugged and unplugged (or so I've heard), so I don't want to switch between the wall outlet and Apex daily. Would some kind of switch work in this situation, whether it be automatic or manual?

Finally, is it safe, or recommended to pull the maximum kw rating on the bluetti, for several hours at a time? Or should I get the second Apex and hub before attempting this?

I'm trying to do this as inexpensively as possible, but don't mind paying to do things the right way. I'll be hiring an electrician to do anything that is beyond my capabilities.

Edit: also, I will have a pv breaker box between the panels and the SolarX. Should I have any other fuses in the solar setup?
