Is this still considered as dermatillomania??

I started as a nail picker during 4th grade and used to bite my nails till it was only a cm long, bleeding 24/7. Lost the habit during the peak of the pandemic but a few years after, it evolved into lip picking. It was to the point that my lips were red and raw( even putting on Vaseline hurt). Lately it was partnered with me picking at my toe nails. I would rip them out and peel off the hangnails and my cuticle around it.

I hate how I can't stop. I know doing this is harmful to me and I want to quit this but I can't bring myself to. I tried moisturizing and wrapping up my toes and lip to stop myself, yet it was unsuccessful. It only lasted a few minutes before I start the cycle again.

If anyone has tips to stop this habit plss share🙏

I tried to help someone with their English and ended up being the one who learned a lesson.

I saw a student struggling to read a sign at a museum in Xi'an and I thought, Here's my chance to be a helpful tourist. I offered to translate, and he looked at me, smiled, pulled out his phone, scanned the sign, and showed me a perfect AR translation that was better than my English explanation.

Is a budget PCP + scope bundle actually worth it for a newbie?

So I’ve been plinking with a little break barrel in the backyard for a couple years, nothing fancy. Last weekend my neighbor let me try his PCP at our local range and now my wallet is in danger.

I’ve been looking at “starter PCP packages” that come with rifle scopes and sometimes a pump/compressor or random tactical bits, and I keep going back and forth. Part of me thinks I should just buy a simple, solid PCP and a decent scope separately, but then I see these bundles and the prices look tempting. I might be missing something here.

Some of the sites even push mystery box deals for airgun stuff, which sounds fun but also kinda sketchy for a main setup.

For those of you who’ve done this in the last year or two: are the budget PCP+scope bundles actually good starters, or do you end up replacing everything anyway? Any brands/setups you’d recommend or avoid? And would you ever trust a “mystery box” as a way to build out gear, or keep that strictly for side toys?

the top class actions in the join phase right now are the ones most people aren't registered for yet

most of the conversation about class action settlements focuses on cases with active claim windows and specific deadlines. The join phase cases get less attention and I think that's backwards. Here's what's in the join phase right now that's worth registering for immediately:

instacart: anyone who paid service, delivery, or membership fees between january 2018 and december 2024. amazon alexa: anyone who owned or registered an alexa device after june 2014. apple icloud: anyone who purchased icloud storage in the past four years. google data tracking: anyone who had web and app activity tracking disabled between july 2016 and september 2024 but still had data collected. openai mixpanel: anyone who used chatgpt and had personal information exposed in the november 2025 breach. snapchat: anyone who used snapchat in the us and experienced mental or emotional distress from the platform. whole foods meat: anyone who purchased beef products from whole foods marketed as raised without antibiotics. fairlife: anyone who purchased fairlife milk or dairy products on or after february 2025. no proof needed. starbucks: anyone who purchased starbucks coffee products in the us. costco rotisserie: anyone who purchased kirkland signature rotisserie chicken or raw chicken from costco since january 2019. prime hydration: anyone who purchased prime hydration sports drinks in the us.

The join phase list is where the larger potential payouts tend to live because the cases are still unresolved.

Is is okay for your wisdom teeth to come out early

I've been having toothaches a few years back and I just brushed it off ( no pun intended) to eating too much candy. I noticed just now that both my wisdom at the bottom were visible and halfway out.

Do I need to get them extracted??

Where to read comics online when money is tight?

Buying individual issues is killing my budget and stacking multiple subscriptions isnt realistic rn, I mainly read marvel but I also want dc and indie stuff without paying for three different apps. Is there anything that covers multiple publishers for cheap or am I stuck choosing one and ignoring everything else lmao

Is LLC actually the best setup for a small business?

I’ve been thinking about officially setting up a business for my creative work so I can put more money into projects, buy equipment, and eventually hire assistants when needed.

Right now I’m trying to figure out if an LLC actually makes the most sense or if people just default to it because it’s the most common option.

One of my goals is also to make things more tax efficient since most of my income currently comes through regular employment.

The business itself would basically be a creative studio focused on personal projects and client work over time.

For those who went through this already, did you start with an LLC or something else? Any downsides you wish you knew before filing?

How do i get the motivation to start watching the anime

Like most animes, I usually wait for it to be completed so i can watch in peace. But once AOT was confirmed to end, I couldn't find the will to start the series partly because of its number of episodes😭🫠
